Lockyer Valley Sports and Aquatic Centre

Wow didn't realize how big this place is.it's huge! Went to watch friends play indoor soccer.and found out it has 4 indoor courts a gym a massive swimming pool (Olympic Size?) And even a cafeteria.that was open I'm very impressed

Fantastic support in helping to get results, a real variety of facilities and training methods. Is really a club for all shapes, sizes and abilities and I love using the new ladies only area.

Staff are friendly and helpful, has a range of facilities, I love swimming so the pool is a plus and a nice temp. Furthermore, I found the Hydro pool disappointing, as it only comes to the waist line (Im very short so this says a lot), rendering it useless for my rehabilitation, however this is great for mums to use it for teaching babies/toddlers to swim and maybe rehab for people with leg injuries.

Went here for the Gatton Show recently. They really need to make more areas wheelchair accessible. It needs paved/sealed road or path.

Can't believe I've lived here for so long and haven't bothered to use the pool! It so refreshing on a hot day! Great length for laps.
Only issue was I tried to sit on the grass as I wanted a bit of sun but got swarmed by ants! Not their fault but before you go chucking down the towel etc just check. I ended up moving to the concrete but still ended up having the occasional ant nip!
