Little Ship Club reviews
33Great place to finish your day with fresh prawn and local beers. The sunset view is incredible.
The food was overpriced rubbish, we spent the next two days sick after eating there. Never again
The environment is very comfortable. You can enjoy meals and beers while watching the sunset. There is also a band playing music. Life is so comfortable and relaxing.
Just called in for a drink and see if anything was on the menu. Couldn't find one. The place was almost empty and devoid of any character. A real shame as it's in a prime location and set on a huge area right on the water next to where the water taxi comes in. When you're on Stradbroke island, call in for a drink.
Thanks for serving our food early last week, helping us easily catch the barge. Appreciated. Really enjoyed the food.great relishes on the steak sandwich and burger. Great friendly service and lovely place to enjoy a meal.
Judging by a quick skim of the reviews things have definitely taken a turn for the worse over the past year compared to previous years.
The location is amazing, beautiful views of the ocean and a very pleasant place to spend sometime sitting in the shade or on the grass. The food and the availability of options were unfortunately limited and sub-par. The staff were nice and helpful but the tables were dirty and don't seem to be wiped down after other patrons leave. The bar and drinks on the other hand were great and really enjoyable.
I really wish I could give the bar and the kitchen seperate reviews. The bar and bar-staff were fantastic, great selection and a real country pub vibe.
The food on the other hand was really average, expensive and the service from the pink haired server was even worse. The “award winning chef” doesn’t seem to care that much about the quality of what’s going out of their kitchen.
I would recommend eating lunch before coming and enjoy the bar.
This place needs some work. Everytime we’ve been here it’s been a more than below average experience. Very minimal menu, which is fine but if you’re going to do a minimal menu, you need to nail everything on the menu. The food is awful, prawns were the worst prawns I’ve Ever had in my life - on Stradbroke island, work that one out. They were off I’m sure. Steaks over cooked and as dry as anything. Not to mention there is no staff collecting plates, our plates sat there for hours with flies buzzing around. Such a shame as the location is second to none, right on the water but the meals and service just continues to disappoint.
Visited 15/1 Burgers Excellent, crab excellent, chefs excellent we love this place! Party of 15 people, all my family very happy
Fantastic trip on Straddie ferry. You meet lots of interesting people. The Little Ship Club was basic pub and cafe outlet. However the food was great and good value. Staff very friendly. The furniture is poor, the table I dined at was wobbly and the seats uncomfortable.
The kingfish sashimi was from another planet. Highly recommend it! Will come back with my family for sure!
Nice environment and vibe
The venue is nice, especially the outside area. Nice to be able to pull up at a jetty and go to a cafe for lunch. However, the menu is expensive and unnecessarily so. I get that it's on an island, but so is Tipplers on Sth Straddie and their food and prices are excellent.
Had a Burger and chips for $26! Totally average Burger with a lot of chips but not worth $26. Also, put that it has BBQ Sauce on it in its description, hate the stuff but didn't know.
Wouldn't eat here again unless the prices and menu are improved.
Best Mud crab ever!
Flat head fish beautiful!
Best staff and chef ever!
Best burgers I've ever
It was absolutely great experience, the food the staff and service love it? Shout out for this place
I've been coming here since I was a young kid. Food is delicious and staff are friendly. Great for the whole family include a play park for the kids
Long wait for food
orders were mixed up
sunny day so very busy not enough staff on very nice setting
Good local beer
What a hidden gem this place is definitely worth a visit cold drinks coffee and an excellent dining experience
What a great experience. All ten of my friends loved there meals and the service was incredible. Beautiful location and so pretty watching the water and having some drinks. Highly recommend best food on the island should definitely check it out!
This is a friendly place with good food and great service. Being able to moore your boat on their pontoon while you have lunch is fantastic.
Great location, hard to find a better place for a quiet drink on the lawn overlooking Moreton Bay. Unfortunately if you want some reasonable food, go somewhere else.
Understandably the passing trade can be a bit sporadic so running a cafe/bistro here would be challenging.
