We held our engagement party at Lightspace and we couldn't speak more highly of the team! They were so easy to communicate with and the bar staff on the night were bubbly and accommodating! Made our night even more magical!

I must extend special thanks to the security guard, whose courteous assistance in helping our elderly friends and family members safely outside the venue was deeply appreciated. And the bar staff was nothing short of incredible! They were an absolute dream team, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time.

I would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank John for his invaluable guidance and support in planning the event. Your expertise and understanding of our vision helped turn our dream celebration into a magnificent reality.

Lightspace is the best venue we could have ever dreamed of for our wedding. The venue, hospitality and staff were all above and beyond our expectations and we got so much amazing feedback from everyone the whole day and night. The whole process from the beginning to the end was made easy, fun and exciting thanks to the amazing Danielle. She’s so kind, helpful and always listened and catered to want we wanted. We were all always made to feel so welcomed. Would do anything to go back and do it all again and we highly highly recommend to anyone looking to have a wedding or host an event!:)

We hosted our wedding here and wouldn't choose anywhere else! The venue is beautiful and the staff are incredible. Danielle was amazing the whole time and made sure the event went off without a hitch. They helped coordinate the perfect day for us with no stress at all.

Danielle and the team were great to deal with and accommodated everything we asked for - a live band, food trucks, ice cream cart, personalised Margarita's etc. My partner and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the night.

I hired Lightspace for my engagement party and had 100 guests. It is a spectacular venue to host a cocktail party. Throughout the enquiry and booking process, John was always a pleasure to deal with. John and the Lightspace team were available at any time to communicate and assist with catering and other vendors which I had chosen to use. Wally, the event manager on the night made sure that everything ran smoothly and perfectly. 10/10 would use Lightspace again.

We can't thank Danielle and the team at Lightspace enough for helping bring our wedding dream to life. We wanted something different and Lightspace was the perfect blank canvas to make that happen.

A giant LED tree? No problem! Pinball machines? No problem! A bouncy castle? No problem! The list went on.

We had plenty of catchups in the lead up to make sure everything would run smoothly on the day and it did, besides my belt breaking, but the Lightspace team had a solution for that and gave me one of theirs.

Would 100% recommend Lightspace for any event or function if you want to do something nice and wow your guests.

The venue of dreams! Our experience with Lightspace was amazing. The space was transformed just how I imagined and the coordinator Danielle was soooo accomodating to my very detailed plans! These guys are the best and I couldn't recommend them more!

Jason and I couldn’t be more grateful to have Danielle to organise our wedding. We had the best day ever. Lightspace had literally made our dream come true - We could get married in our very personalised gallery. All our guests were really impressed with our setting - Danielle and her team were so accommodating, from letting us do the setup a day prior to arranging our wedding favors and cake's presentation. It is our pleasure to meet Danielle and work with her. Their bar staff were extremely lovely as well.

Gorgeous venue space, but can feel very crowded very quickly. Have less people per session and more sessions for a better event

My wife and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Lightspace and had such a magical day. The venue is amazing and very versatile with the ability to customize it to your liking and theme. Our wedding coordinator Jamie was fantastic, she was very helpful throughout the entire process and made the day run smoothly and faultless. The entire staff on the day were amazing, setting the venue up perfectly in a short amount of time and keeping all our guests very happy. Thanks for everything Lightspace!

I can't recommend Jamie, John and the entire lightspace team highly enough! They were so wonderful to work with for our wedding, everything went off without a hitch! They're absolute champions, super professional, helpful and approachable. Can't commend them enough for their flexible approach when a lockdown meant we had to reschedule our initial date as well.

The venue itself is so versatile, and was perfect for us. Because of the thoughtful set up, tasteful furnishings and general vibe we really didn't need to add much at all, it shines as it is! My best friend had her wedding at lightspace earlier this month, I was heavily involved in the wedding planning and organisation of her special day. In my opinion from the moment the non refundable deposit was paid the service level of the wedding planner and venue as a whole dropped significantly.

Lack of call backs from the wedding planner Jamie throughout the planning process with what most Aussies would call a 'laid back attitude' however in this instance it was a clear lack of care or love for the role she has within the business.

In the final weeks leading up to the wedding Brisbane had lockdowns which was of major concern to the bride and groom and much to our dismay the alleviation of these concerns was not there from the venue. We were simply told you have to pay the final payment or you lose the entire deposit and have no option of rescheduling if the final payment was not made.

Decorations of the venue - customizing a wedding to suit the bride and groom was essential and my niece arrived at the venue morning of the wedding to lay out some greenery and lighting which was initially an issue for Jamie and we asked for confirmation that we could decorate and it clearly appeared that we were in an up hill battle on the smallest of details.

The day of the wedding as someone who has worked 15years in hospitality and ran large scale events, the events/wedding manager not being on site as all the vendors are setting up is baffling to me. One video call from my niece I could see unorganized chaos which raised concerns to me instantly.

Wedding day schedule changed and not given to the duty manager on the actual evening of the wedding, who was brilliant and did his absolute best to accommodate and smooth out the issues left by Jamie.

The devastating part of this wedding is both the photographer & the videographer were not given the appropriate amount of time to reload their cameras and the bride was sent down the isle, by Jamie the wedding coordinator resulting in not a single image or video of the Bride and her father and father-in-law walking her down the isle. These are not moments you can replicate.

The wedding was beautiful, the bride was beautiful however the tactics to force drink spending was calculated and concerning, open bar tab's are not a opportunity to remove cocktails after one or two sips which occurred on day with a number of my cocktails being removed prematurely forcing the the bar tab to reach an exorbitant amount at the end of the evening.

THEFT - Security company BEST Security was the venues company of choice and not included in the venue hire, cards out of the bride and grooms wishing well were stolen by the very man paid to secure the event. On camera and clear as day this security guard took gifts to the bride and groom from their guests. Thousands of dollars lost to disgusting behavior and surprise surprise! The venue took no responsibility for this.emails, calls, texts and the newly wedded bride and groom get to start their new life going through footage, police reports, communication with venue and security company to try and retrieve the gifts.

Lightspace should have been a perfect wedding venue however it is not and please reconsider giving your money over to this company and find alternative options.

My fiance and I hosted our engagement party at Lightspace on the weekend and what a night it was! We had a ball and have received such wonderful feedback on the bar service, styling of the room and general vibe:) It was fantastic not having to lift a finger on the day - every little detail was taken care of. We will definitely be back and would recommend Lightspace 100% to our family and friends for an upcoming functions:)

Absolutely beautiful venue that hosted an incredible event for my 21st! The space is so easy to style giving anyone that creative flare to transform the place into any vision! Would definitely recommend using Lightspace for any event.
