Lifeline Superstore Molendinar reviews
22Excellent - although different staff members have different ideas on pricing. I shop here very regularly!
There is a OK amount of stuff here,
But they expect far too much for some of there pre loved second hand things,
The staff members are nice, The guys that help you with donations are eager to help,
I feel they are the saving grace to this place, without them it would be a two star or even one.
Really disappointed. This used to be my favourite opshop to visit when on the Coast. But recently it's become ridiculously overpriced! $20 for a faded, basic Big W school hoodie? I can get it new at Big W for $12.
The men's clothes prices are outrageous!
Won't be making the special trips anymore.
Fab place. Plenty of choice and many different thins on offer. The place is huge. Very impressive indeed.
I highly recommend LifeLine Molendinar, for many reasons. The honesty and dedication of the friendly staff renewed my faith in the goodness of humankind.
I absent-mindedly left my wallet there and when I returned the next day, it was safely tucked away in their safe! Thank you.
Staff are rather rude and this place is on the very expensive side considering everything is donated to them, Saw a Rusty brand men's jumper, wanted $45 for it and had no zipper, only went here based on the reviews but def won't be returning or recommending.
Not enough time there, my scooter lights were disappearing so couldn't stop for a proper look. But wanting dining table 4 chairs (prefere padded chairs) also 3 side tables and 3 side lamps. I'll be back. Ta
I was looking for a dc 5v electrical lead /cord but could not find one. The staff member at the register was very helpful. I Support Lifeline they have saved a friend's life numerous times on the counseling line.
Opportunity store but no opportunity wouldn't drop the price on a couch cause they had it for 10 minutes. The women who spoke to me was rude and money hungry.
Love. This. Shop. Try to make it our first stop on our weekly Wednesday Op Shop pilgrimage - so we’re fresh and full of energy - it is HUGE! We were here 2 years ago - great shop. We’ve visited every Wednesday for the last month. Great shop. Sad to say for our budget at least, that we have never walked out empty handed. We find the clothes pricing very reasonable indeed - especially if you’re hitting the orange tags which are 50% reduced. Mum bought a pair of Olsen jeans today - the ‘Mona’ model - price online at US$99 or A$150 odd - she paid $6. Handbags are too expensive though - $20-40 for ‘pleather’ made in the PRC is outlandish and out of touch with the same tat for the same price in retail stores. Menswear well priced - saw a superb RM Williams jacket today in excellent condition for $25. Is still there though as size and husband just didn’t match up. Can’t speak to the linens but the bric a brac seems reasonably priced. Look out for the jewellery though - checked a ‘Tiffany’ bracelet a week or so ago being touted as Tiffany and charging $180 and quoting retail price of over $500. Just a. 925 stamp is not enough to call it Tiffany I’m afraid - I checked it.brass showing in various places, links not soldered etc etc - fake and bad fake. Mentioned it to staff, it’s still in the container but label wasn’t visible today - not sure if still selling it as Tiffany at silly price.
Charging $5 per run down pillowcase! $10 for two pieces of material is ridiculous.can’t believe the prices in there! Won’t be going back.
Who prices things for this shop? Someone totally out of touch considering all the goods are donated. Will not go again. Wanted a coffee table $145 ridiculous. A staff member informed me business was down and I can understand why.
Lots & Lots To Choose From. Books, Furniture, Clothes, Artwork etc etc. Friendly Staff, Parking Out Front, (if you're lucky) & All At Reasonable Prices.
It is a good shop and decent sized, however and it is a big however. The prices are often ridiculous. They often charge more then regular shops. Sometimes quite alot more. Sometimes it isnt too bad but often it's too much. Very very rare to get a bargain there anymore as it used to be priced alot better
If your well heeled, bargain. If financially stressed, they won't alter prices. After all all goods are donated.
Used to be much better. The prices have gone up and staff aren't very friendly either. The stars are for the treasures you can find, if you look carefully.
Good range. A little highly priced for some items considering it's a second hand store. Can't find staff to help. But for what it is, it's okay
Large store with furniture, clothing and household goods.
However in comparison to other opp shops prices are quite high.
Way over priced! Set out weird, staff seemed quite annoyed with upper management whilst I was there. But is a big store with big prices. I'll stick to the smaller stores.
Massively over priced on most stock and they refuse to budge on the prices. I don't think that the miserable old women there realise that they are selling second hand goods and they aren't making a commission on sales.
