A great treasure trove of - lots to discover downstairs in the homewares section. $2 deals on select coloured tags never disappoint either.

I used to love this place until this morning…. I have always found great bargains and there’s an awesome variety of things, hence my grandmother and i pop in every couple of weeks. As i was sorting through clothes i noticed all the price tags were above $10! And none of them had colours on them yet they have 25% off green tags signs everywhere. WHAT A SCAM! I feel in love with one shirt with a $10 price tag, guess how much it originally was from the shop? $5. I paid more for a second hand shirt then if i got it first hand.i am appalled to say the least and especially to be doing this around christmas and in our current economic state. I can confirm they have just lost two very reliable customer.

'Retro' hmmm? I don't think so.
I think you guys could be more flexible here, put all the long skirts together, easy to find, reasonably priced, as many of the clothes in retro are standard general clothes.

Sadly, I won't be donating my clothes to this store either.

This does not support community I'm afraid.
I'm not willing to pay more than $15 for items as I simply can't afford it.

I would say the clothes aren't moving that much in this store, simply because prices are too high.

This is the original store located on Newmarket road with two levels with clothes upstairs & furniture & bric-a-brac down stairs. Great bargains to grab

Found this lil treasure of an op shop today. Was plenty of interesting things and set up so that you could easily find what you were looking for. Upstairs is full of clothing set up in sections, again easy to find what you are looking for. I loved the Vintage section. Janet the lady who was working in the shop today, was eager to help me with my choice of clothes and showing me the specials like jeans for $5, the green / orange ticket discounts and of course she showed me the $2 stand. Janet, a volunteer, diligently keeps the shop looking fabulous with her love and care. Janet shows a genuine passion for customer service. Thank you Janet for your assistance
today, you are wonderful

One of my favourite Brisbane Op Shops. It is very easy to drop donations off. A huge range of goods is displayed in a way that makes sense. Quite a range of prices.

The Staff & volunteers were all very helpful, very friendly& eager to help. This store was a God send when i was in Brisbane for an extended period of time with a limited wardrobe & budget. Have been back several times on visits to Brisbane.

I called about a sofa that they (managerw/headscarf} said they would hold til next day. I called next day, underling (baldinggreychub) answered phone, I asked to speak to manager regarding sofa. Underling approached manager. While I waited, I could hear them talking about the situation, indicating that they clearly sold the item which they said they hold. I HEARD THE MANAGER ASK WHO WAS ON THE PHONE.and he just hung up!
I called back three times with no answer! BTW. It wasn't closing time!

Good place for retro & mod clothing, musical instruments, books, sewing and craft supplies, manchester, furniture, videos, DVDs, toys, etc.bric a brac is fair.
All Prices do fluctuate a bit from item to item.
On site Parking is a hit or miss (mainly miss! - They are on a very busy corner so have your wits about you!). So park in a side street and walk. Worth a ½ hour visit, to look & see.

Where has the caring hearts gone in charity shops! I took my grandmother here today and she wanted to buy a pair of shoes. She had $10 and the shoes were $12, she politely asked if she could buy them for $10, you can clearly see we aren't the wealthiest of people and the man bluntly said NO! You either pay $12 or put them back for someone who can afford them.
I thought this was a charity shop, these shoes were obviously donated to them and I now feel you must be wealthy to shop here.
I'm absolutely DISGUSTED

Today is 12 months since we opened the new shop. Thank you to Troy and his crew for allowing me to travel the journey. Happy Birthday, you have an amazing shop.

How a Lifeline should be. Junk and disorderly next to vintage kitchenware and board games. A pleasing wander.

If you can get a park worthwhile.
Seriously needs to relocate to a premises that actually has parking.
I don't understand how head office thought moving to this site would be a good idea. Much easier to get to when it was on Newmarket Rd.

Did not have much time here. The parking is very limited and the orange wall makes reversing out hazardous. Will give this one a miss next time

This superstore has the friendliest staff and receives awesome donations. The couch I found here was perfect. You never know what will arrive so it's worth checking often. Lifeline are so worth supporting.
