Level 5 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Excellent training facility with two amazing teachers (Dave and Clay). Questions are always welcomed, and encourage and the trainers really enjoy teaching all different methods. The student base is vast with an array of belts so not only do you get the benefit of two black belt coaches but there are so many other students to learn from.

The community at Level 5 is really friendly and relaxed and people are extremely welcoming and willing to share their knowledge.

Level 5 is an awesome place to train. I think its exceptional because of the guys who run it (Dave and Clay) and because there are a great range of belts meaning that you get to roll with people from White all the way to Black.

The other students are also really helpful because so many of them have been doing it for years which means you effectively get one on one help from everyone you roll with.

Its a more mature crowd and the culture is very friendly and people mix well regardless of their belt ranking.

The curriculum is not exactly fundamental but its still a good gym for the White belt because you get exposure to a more skilled opponent with heavy pressure.

The owners are not in it for the money (they both have day jobs) and they are always up for a chat - you can be there talking to them literally an hour after the actual class ends and it might not even be about Jiu Jitsu. Just really good quality humans.

I presently train here. The venue is small and functional, and the coaching staff are awesome. Would recommend.
