Le Step on the Coast

I attended a full day workshop and was very happy with the day. The vibe was positive and the people were friendly and encouraging. My skills as a dancer were challenged and I was presented with a lot of new moves which I recorded for practice purposes. It was just what I was looking for to expand my knowledge base. I highly recommend this studio for fun learning, friendly people and excellent teaching.

I started dancing about a year ago, and have done this particular style (Modern Jive) since the beginning. I have been to many different studios with different styles and almost no other studios has the same level of passion, fun and eagerness to teach as Emma and her crew has. As someone who had basically zero experience with partner dancing I can strongly recommend this studio and style for anyone, whether you're new to partner dancing or have heaps of experience, it's honestly so fun and versatile and amazing to learn. I always leave the classes with a smile and can't wait for the next one.
They also run amazing workshops and events that challenge me as a dancer and teach me so many new things, and Emma and the crew are excellent at assisting and teaching anyone as a dancer, regardless of skill levels.
Honestly have zero complaints and cannot recommend enough!

Emma and the crew run an excellent Friday night dance class in a great venue. Very friendly group of people, great instruction, loads of added fun. I'll definitely visit again when I'm nearby. Highly recommended.

They can dance but don't know how to teach, an absolute disgrace. Attended full day group workshop, and was bombarded with so many dance moves in such a short period of time, my wife and I and others were lost after a while, and they couldn't care less! Been instructed over the years and competed in Ballroom and never see such poor teaching. Will not go back and would not recommend to anyone on the planet!

Starting with no dancing or music background, found it a little difficult at first, but after my second or third lesson it all started to work for me. Great easy way of learning with great teachers.

My girlfriend brought me along for this a few weeks ago and we had a great time. We learnt a lot in one lesson. At first it was a little strange that we changed partners every minute, though after a couple of changes, we realised it was the best way to learn and meet everyone. We didn't buy the first night special (i think it was $45?), but we probably should have. We'll probably go again and pretend to be new.
