Le Chile Cafe reviews
64Found this cute little cafe in Tamborine mountains gallery walk. From the outside it looks like all the seating is out the front. But as you walk in you get a big surprise. First there's a shop fill of unique items then as you go towards counter there's the verandah on the right. It is a delight for the senses. Trinkets hanging everywhere, tables full of pots and interesting stuff to look at. Then there's the view. I ordered the Pasta Bolognaise and orange cake. Both homemade, both delicious. The pasta and mince were so fine, it was a delight to eat. They also sell cookies and chocolates and ice cream. Beautiful little place.
What a stunning little cafe this is. This cafe has beautiful decorations and a cozy seating area. The completo and my coffee milkshake were great and the owners were super friendly.
Lovely fresh empanada Chile style. Great atmosphere and service. I'd recommend and would visit again! ¡Gracias por la comida delioso!
Cutest hidden cafe in Mt Tamborine! The atmosphere and the servers were the loveliest people and the food was good too. Fresh scones and soup was perfect for the morning
This little cafe was the cutest find with a lovely atmosphere. The food is to die for and the service is just wonderful. The wait time is a little long but it is worth the wait and you can enjoy the ambience while you're waiting
Nice place to eat for Spanish food. The beef sandwich was quite big and tasty. The burrito I had was good but a little on the small size for a guy.
I really liked the atmosphere, the older gentleman at the counter was really sweet and the coffee was good but unfortunately the food was overpriced and under average
Place is cute but they really need to work on the portions considering how much they’re charging, big breakfast should be called little breakfast and shouldn’t charge more than $14 for it!
My friend and myself attended the cafe. My friend ordered both our meals, however her meal arrived and mine came about half an hour later, after I reminded the waitresses. Whoever is cooking in the kitchen were not organised. Eventually my meal arrived. Staff were apologetic, however I will not be returning again.
Really disappointing meal experience.
Every time I come to Mt Tambourine I eat at this restaurant. Today the standard was very poor. I firstly ordered and was charged for a menu item that I came, from Brisbane to eat (empanadas). Five minutes after ordering the waitress came to our table to tell us they were sold out and any item we ordered would have to be paid for at the higher (or lower) charge. If it was pre order it would’ve been fine to charge me as it was my decision, at this point you’ve taken my money.
After waiting at least 45mins for food what came was extremely small (for an $18 burrito.) I’m not a big eater either but this was just ridiculous.
Finally, we then attempted to order coffee and cake. After waiting a few minutes at the counter with what I would presume to be the owner, she refused to acknowledge me. When she finally did, she was extremely rude and she went on a rant about how busy she was and she can’t do everything, etc etc. I was shocked and just froze, I couldn’t believe that someone with a customer service business would speak to a customer like that. I’m still shaking with how I was treated. Needless to say we won’t be coming back and felt strongly that people like this should be called out as it’s very unnecessary no matter what is happening in your own personal or business life.
I had the best lentil soup ever. Beautiful hidden gem. Great food and coffee. And you won’t get bored as there is many things around to look at in the decoration!
Amazing, possibly the best cafe in town. Great service, atmosphere, lovely decor, unique gifts. You must try this place.
A beautiful little cosy Chilean cafe with lots of Latin American and Turkish hand made items for sale. Beautiful gardens and a very relaxing vibe.
If you love Chilean food, which there aren't that many places around that serves it, then this is well worth a visit. Great food and atmosphere. They also have a variety of chocolates. I'll be back for sure.
We have been here before for coffee, Devonshire Tea etc. Yesterdays visit was not enjoyable as my wife & her friend both had Devonshire tea to be greeted by 1 hair in one scone & 2 in another, this made us all feel very unsettled/grouse, we won’t be back-: (

Really satisfying. A chill and comfortable place, with outstanding food and service, this is the best place in the area! Definitely come back!
We have to wait a couple of minutes but it worth it. Delicious food (Homemade taste) and great atmosphere.
One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I can’t recommend their Chicken and beef dishes high enough. It was like a home cooked meal that is very rare to find. Thank you to the lovely staff. Great atmosphere and nice music while we were eating. Thank you ️
The food was absolutely amazing! Table of 6 and every single person enjoyed theirs.
