I was caught up in Cyclone Jasper and had to take care of you for a few days. The result is correct!
The room was clean and functional, and the owners were kind.
Best of all, there are Papua nightjars on the premises! It seems that he has lived there for many years now. We greeted each other every day. Although the disaster was difficult, it was a good stay. Thank you.

The owner (Aidan) was lovely and full of helpful recommendations for what to do in the area - thanks for recommending the Zip line course in Cape Trib! The team were also great to communicate with via email prior to the booking. The room was very spacious with good quality furniture and absolutely spotless. Plus they've thought of everything you could possibly need. This place totally exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay again if we're in Port Douglas.

Loved this place. It was perfect for our last few days in the north.the guys who run the place are really friendly too. We'll be back.

Nice place to stay. Room and facilities were excellent with really good AC. Staff were very nice and accommodating.

Absolutely perfect stay. Apartment was spotless. Fantastic amenities in the room. They’ve thought of everything, including a washcloth for removing makeup! Outside common area orderly and clean. Service excellent. For a fussy customer, I can’t fault this place. Perfect.

Aidan was super nice and very helpful everytime we asked for something. The room was very clean and spacious. Totally recomendable.

Stayed here back in 2019, hosts Aiden and Alex were so lovely and helpful and wouldn't think twice about staying there again if we ever go to this part of the world again. Plus got to see these beautiful birds in the grounds.

I have a wonderful 4-night stay at Lazy Lizard. I rate it 10 out of 10!

The owners are very helpful right starting from the booking was confirmed. They answered every question I had incl.weather, transportation, activities, etc. They booked all my tours and Cairns-Port Douglas-Cairns transportations. On my day leaving PD to Cairns, I had to wait more than 20min for the shuttle to arrive. Aidan the owner called the driver and then assured me that he was on the way to pick me up. As a solo female traveller, I very much appreciate the help and advice they have given.

The room is very clean. The room has a small kitchen area. So there are two sinks in the room so I can wash fruits in the kitchen. In most hotel room, you only have one sink in the bathroom.

The location is also good even though not right in the town. It only took me 11min to walk to 4 Miles Beach (the sunrise there is amazing) and about 20min to Marina and town. If you don't feel like walking there are shuttles available all day: $5 one way and $8.50 return.

Overall I am very pleased with the stay here, and would like to take my family to here one day

This is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean & very affordable and have all the amenities needed. It’s a well-run, neat and tidy site with a great swimming pool and spa.
The owners are really helpful, they booked all my tours for me and I had a fantastic time staying here.
I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Port Douglas - highly recommended!

The accommodation is extremely clean, the rooms are very large, comfortable beds, the grounds are tropical and very beautiful. Our rooms had kitchen facilities and there is a full laundry right there! The motel is very close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Awesome pool and BBQ area. Parking was directly in front of our rooms. Aidan provided us local information, which was very much appreciated.
We could not have wished for a better experience, it was perfect!

Clean, sizeable, affordable accommodation close to the centre of town. Comfortable bed, albeit a little firm. The staff were friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to advise of must see & do activities. I really enjoyed my stay & would absolutely stay again! Highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. The owners are really helpful and knowledgeable about the area and major tourist points. Couldn't be anymore helpful. The pool/spa was wonderful after a day of hikes and walks.
