Absolutely delicious food, the staff were amazing. We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary and they made it extra special for us. We love the sparkling desert you bought out for us as an extra surprise. We will return a beautiful restaurant

We had the Valantine’s set menu and was delicious, the scallops with seaweed very savoury, the carpaccio with wasabi sauce melt on it’s own, and for main meal we both chose the lamb which was cooked to the perfection. Small place, cozy very recommended. Wait service can improve with more attention to customer. But food delicious.

The food, the view and the staff were all wonderful!
The atmosphere was intimate enough to be able to talk without shouting, this made all the more enjoyable.

We started with cocktails (Pink Gin and Imperial Rule) and the hot oyster platter (6 each of mornay, tempura, kilpatrick), each one was sensational. Tempura being our favourite.

Next we continued with the seafood and shared the calamari and crispy prawns, both come with a small salad and dipping sauce, both were wonderfully light and tender.

A bottle of wine lead us to the shared chocolate and cheese platter for two, which had your chpice of two cheeses, crackers, fresh fruit, fig compote, honey and chocolate surprises.

The wait staff were very attentive and engaging, the restaurant was quite full, but we were never waiting for the staff. They kept our drinks full which is appreciated.

It was a fantastic meal with nice views, we will be back. Our bill was not overpriced for what we had both in experience and food wise.

Had my sons 18th bday dinner there. The service was second to none. The young man staff member who served us was very attentive. Made my sons day special with suggestions of beverages and foods and was very down to earth. Lovely personality. Makes all the difference when it is a special occasion.
We will be going back during the day next time to enjoy the views.

The only restaurant we keep going back to since it opened. Many seating options, relaxed, wonderful bar, the food is like your best meal each time you go. Vege options, seafood and mam of man meat heaven. The staff are simply delightful and are clearly happy in their role. I believe this may be a family restaurant but I'm not sure. Whoever is leading, puts effort in 100% and the place is full every night it's open. What does that tell you. Beautiful décor too. I keep wanting to take a photo inside, its so glamourous. Thank you.

The moment you step inside this beautiful restaurant, you are treated like family and royalty at the same time. Faultless customer service from EVERYONE! Then you are spoilt with the food. We had the lamb sharing platter, simply wow! Even better was it was GF for my wife. You will not be disappointed with any aspect of this restaurant experience.

Highly recommend Ladybird Bar & Restaurant. On arrival reception was with smiles and very quickly we were seated. Lovely atmosphere with a large number of couples having a romantic dinner. The atmosphere was so relaxing. On the food front the menus had the perfect range of seafood, meats, vegan and vegetarian which really worked well as I had the lamb dish while my wife the vegan tofu dish with salads and vegetable sides. We also had a rather lovely edamame starters. The crème brûlée desert with fruit was enough for two. Lovely range of cocktails, wines, including a finishing Penfold’s grandfather port. The staff were very attentive and never without a friendly smile during the whole evening. Highly recommend the Ladybird restaurant as you won’t be disappointed.

We went to ladybird for a friends 40th birthday. The staff went over and beyond any expectations we had for our night. Everyone was super friendly and fun, plus the food was absolutely delicious.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. Excellent food, excellent service and a great view. Celebrated a birthday lunch at ladybird and we will be back for many more.

We had a birthday lunch and got the banquet between 13 people. It was amazing everything was so well prepared and more than enough food to go around. My favourite dish was the oysters, they were unreal. The service was so great 10/10. And the cocktails were pretty great. Probably my favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast at the moment.

Three amazing courses - Edamame beans and calamari starters were the best ever. Our mains were so tasty.the seafood linguine was sublime. You must try the black & white mousse. Beautiful setting and the service was second to none.
