Korean Kitchen reviews
62 Walked by the Korean kitchen with the family and decided to give it a go.
Ordered the BBQ beef menu and rice.
All the meat that came out looked very fresh and was butter tender once cooked on the table grill. Also came with a whole lot of sides as well.
Friendly staff highly recommend.
Food average but the waitress kept turning down the cooker BBQ unable to cook meal properly, everything was raw. For christ sake tell your staff not to touch a persons BBQ setting turning it down all the time. Stuffed my whole experience. $440 dollars spent you would expect better.
Although the restaurant is a Korean grill, in our case we prefer to order different dishes. All the food was good, well prepared and with generous portions.
We ordered a kimchi pancake to share and it was very tasty. We also asked for it with less spice and they left it perfectly. Noodles and fried chicken are an excellent option. The first ones combine the flavor of vegetables and beef with the curious texture of glass noodles. The honey butter chicken, on the other hand, was juicy and had a good batter.
The service was very good, following our instructions at all times and clarifying any doubts we had. The place is simple and is in a commercial area with other places.
Must have the Korean fried chicken, thin battered and crispy, dipped with spicy sauce was delicious. The chicken is juicy and tender. Japchae and kimchi soup was great too.
Slow table service and order priorities, I ordered 2 set at the same time and 1 set came an hour earlier than the other one? This is just not professional especially when I see that some table after me get serve first
A friend and I had never tried a Korean BBQ before today, and we thoroughly enjoyed our first experience! The food was lovely, and we had very friendly staff explain the process and to chat with. I'd love to go back again.
Food was delicious with reasonable price. The kimchi soup and bulgogi japchae were amazing. Definitely will be back here to try the bbq.
The BBQ here is actually pretty delicious compared to the price of other Korean BBQ restaurant around Gold Coast. Today was the second day I came back to the restaurant with my friends after 2 months, and the food tasted better when I first visited the restaurant. Thus, the chef with the glasses wearing the hat looks smokingly hot.
There are heaps of other korean restos just around the corner. We just wanted to explore which was a huge mistake. Ordering bbq you must take minimum 2, so we were 2 people had to order 2 sets of meat (pork belly and some beef slices) and kimchi jiggae, sweet chili chicken and 1 white rice, 2 cups of tea total of $117.50 disaster!
The food was delicious. We had four adults and a child with us. We ordered the Bulgolgi, Chicken, and Pork for meat, and a plate of special fried rice. That ended up being plenty for us, if not a little bit more than we could chew but can’t complain.
We were a little concerned about the health and safety practices of this establishment. Our table was wonky, and whenever the waitress came to collect plates the table would skew. It didn’t feel great when you’re seated near a barbecue. Also, whenever the waitresses changed the plate we noticed oil dripping onto the floor. We thought more precautions would be necessary to stop oil spilling on skin. We thought the service was a little too attentive.
Appalling customer service came all the way from Sydney for a holiday for birthday week with family of 4 but the face on the workers are non welcoming don’t think I’ll come back here ever if customer service is like this
Fried Chicken lived up to expectations. BBQ meat was well marinated. Nice casual dining for the family.
Great food both in quality as well as quantity. Bibimbap and their fried chicken was bomb! Staff were friendly and service was real quick.
Service was good. A little too attentive. Food was average. Got the platter set A and it was all pork, got the teriyaki fried chicken (was not crispy), got the kimchi jjigae and it was probably the best thing off that menu (came with rice). All in all the food was pretty average. I’ve had better places.
My partner and I had dinner there on Monday night. The waiter and waitress are friendly. The food are delicious even though it's a bit pricey. We quite like the seafood pancake. I do have some expectation on the Korean side dishes, hope they can include salads/cucumber in one of the side dishes.
So delicious and reasonably priced! The spring rolls (grandma’s recipe) was the best spring roll I’ve ever had!
We visited from Melbourne and the food here was so much better than most of the Korean BBQ’s in Melbourne CBD!
Had lunch at the korea kitchen absolutely fantastic food and very fresh highly recommend giving this place a go. The waitress was wonderful and very personable was friendly reminder of how service used to be and should be A+
Been here twice now (17th june and 15th july) and was happily satisfied both times. I enjoy the fried chicken with cass and blueberry soju a little pricey for MY budget but SO worth it, it's my special treat place.
I love my Korean food and this place does not disappoint! Bbq is a must try. The pork is nice and trim and fatty at the same time, melts in your mouth. Also try the kimchi seafood soup, all the flavours you expect from the name. I also enjoy the other Asian businesses around this spot, they all have their good points and so different to each other in taste. Thank you guys for being you, always looking forward to next time
Not a lot of side dishes or complimentary veges (ssam) like usual Korean bbq places, but this place had good quality meat and good quantity as well. Soft tofu stew was surprisingly good. Friendly staff as well.
