Kool Kids - Pacific Pines

Where do I even begin with how TERRIBLE this day care is - not the day-to-day carers but more-so the management and management staff. Firstly, this is a terribly managed 'for-profit' business. As you can find on their Linked-In account, Kool Kids get "significant Government subsidies and estimated projected franchisee net profits of over $1,000,000 PA, the Kool Kidz model is the envy of other industries and franchises" - let me just say, this business is not one to envy but one to deplore. In the 1 year period my son went to Kool Kids Pacific Pines, they raised their prices near 5 times. Whenever the government introduced aid or assistance to PARENTS by increasing subsidy etc, Kool Kids subsequently raised their fees so as to absorb the increased government subsidy themselves.
In the period my child was enrolled, the main manager Debbie suddenly left the organisation, as did the second-in-charge staff member Darrien, as did many other staff, all of which I have account of on my day care app. It seems like every month someone left the organisation. There was a constant turn around of carers in my son's class, and the older classes. Some staff even had to take 'mental health' breaks from working there.
One staff member, Mandy, contacted me out of the blue one day in May claiming that I owed the daycare more than $1000 from before December. Not only was this incorrect but Mandy took it upon herself to contact me with accusations of what we owed despite not looking at our accounts or looking at my multiple emails I sent to the daycare that went without responses for MONTHS. There was an outstanding amount owed, however this amount was for missed payments that occurred in April that I did not know about, not to mention, did not amount to $1000+. I later found out Mandy was simply an acting area manager likely on a power trip since recently taking on that role, and overlooking many details prior to contacting me in an accusatory and demeaning way.
Mandy is now apparently located at Pacific Pines, and for this reason, we removed our child from Kool Kids indefinitely. We have also suggested to many others that they avoid Kool Kids Pacific Pines, Mandy and Kool Kids all together since they run a terrible business, with horrible management staff, incapable accounts management, and for greedy upper management.

Everything about this centre is inviting and caring from the moment you walk in the staff are bubbly and friendly, very responsive to children’s needs and always great activities and experiences planned. Their outdoor areas are amazing and huge, lots of engagement by children and educators. My daughter loves kindy since moving to this centre.

We had 3 kids at Kool Kids, we love our staff they really care for our children and go beyond to make them always happy, always building that bond with the educators makes you feel safe when dropping your babies off, appreciate all their hard work.

My daughter currently attends Kool Kids Pacific Pines and absolutely loves her educators and class. I feel at ease when I drop her off knowing that she will always receive any needed comfort (although rare) and she is always so happy when I pick her up at the end of the day. Her main educator, Angie puts so much care and consideration into the class. The kindy has been so flexible with accommodating any sudden changes I've needed.

My daughter is attending Kool Kids Pacific Pines and has the MOST amazing educator Angela, she puts her heart and soul into everyday and my daughter is always excited to see what adventures she will have. They have great facilities, educational toys and activities for growing young minds. Very grateful that I know my baby is safe and happy while I’m at work

This is a great Kindy that continues to review allergy plans and provides a focus on harmonious socialising and safety for kids, working closely with families. Highly recommend.

We have been a Kool Kids family for over 3 years now. I have a grad, a preschooler and a baby and I couldn’t speak more highly of the team. They had a bit of turnover earlier this year but it seems like they are settled now and brought in beautiful staff.

My kids enjoy the extra curricular activities like Japanese and yoga. Staff has taken the time to get to know us as a family and they are always kind, friendly and welcoming.

My kids both absolutely love this centre. In the beginning it was hard for my son but the educators are always there helping him gain more confidence and now he absolutely loves it and waves me goodbye every-time I leave? So proud of him he loves his class room, playground, friends and educators. Have not had any issues highly recommend to all my friends and family for their little ones x

Fantastic Staffs, very friendly environment for kids. I appreciate the level of care and support and great communication, never have to worry about my daughter as i can see her daily activities thru their apps. I'm so grateful to have found Koolkids Pacific Pines, my 3 year old daughter who started as a very shy kid and struggling to socialize with other people is now very confident and enjoying kindy with newly found friends. I highly recommend this school.

My son has been attending since he was 2.
We are always greeted beautifully from all the staff and made to feel welcomed.
Any admin issues are always quickly handled and followed up. Nothing is ever a fuss!

My son has learned so so much and has been nurtured with his needs and grown to be a confident and strong willed little dude.
He looks forward to kindy and happy to go.

The facilities are beautiful and age appropriate and safe for the kids. The class rooms are clean and fresh when it’s pickup time, staff are always a pleasure to speak with about anything.

Our daughter has been going to Kool Kids Pacific Pines for 3 years now.
Her Kindergarten teacher Miss Ashleigh is one of the most amazing teachers and our daughter is now on her way to being school ready thanks to her.
The centre overall has just had a new facelift and the new water feature area is very zen and playful at the same time.
Majority of the educators know all our family members by name and its because of these educators that we love Kool Kids Pacific Pines. In particular, Miss Raquel, Miss Serena, Miss Katie and Miss Paige- these educators along with her main teacher Miss Ashleigh make us feel wanted in the centre everyday.

My two boys attend Kool Kids Pacific Pines and I couldn't speak more highly of the Centre. The love they have for not only my kids but all the kids there just shows how passionate the Educators are. I would love to acknowledge Elena from the babies room - she is absolutely expectational and Miss Tegan's laughter and joy really add a touch of magic to the centre. Nothing is ever too much and all educators go above and beyond.

My daughter absolutely loves this day care she went to a different place before she came here and was upset every time I had to drop her off now at Kool kids she has never been so happy in the mornings to get dropped off. Highly recommend this day care

I absolutely adore this centre and the Educators who have shaped my precious daughter to be the happy and confident girl that she is. I enjoy getting my daily updates, the centre is always clean, we feel safe there and the Educators are always happy and engaged. I could not ask for more. Thank you Kool Kids Pacific Pines!

The staff at Kool Kids made my son very welcome when he started there & have put a lot of effort into ensuring he settled in well. I really appreciate their extra level of care abd communication.

Such a great center. All the staff are fantastic. They are so kind and friendly. My son has only been going a month and they have made the transition so much easier. The communication is fantastic and I love receiving an email and photos of my little man playing throughout the day. I highly recommend this center.

Highly recommend this daycare centre. Both my kids have gone here from an early age and it has always been very welcoming. They are very accommodating and always willing to help.
