Kmart Toowoomba Plaza reviews
33Tidy and clean with super friendly staff. I generally have know idea which registers to go to or in which direction but I can be a bit like Kramer from Seinfeld in that respect.
Seems outdated & it's impossible to find what you are looking for in kmart, and there are never staff around when you need one.
Plenty of parking. And some undercover.
Not a single person on registers. Just self serve (which I hate as I feel it takes away jobs). Machine kept having problems and had to call the lady over 6 times. I will never shop there again.
The actual store itself is a pleasurable place to shop in. Impressive prices much more affordable than other shops selling the same products.
What has continually bothered me is having access to the self service stations only, however due to the prices I've been happy enough to do that.
What got me absolutely boiling was my experience on Easter Sunday. I had shopped there 3 times in 2 weeks spending on average $300 each time. On Sunday the store was almost empty and was given the register closest to the spot staff stand to assist customers when their machines were making errors. Since I knew exactly how it all works I was doing everything correctly eg putting products on the packaging side into bags. Everytime I had to get the assistant (Tahlia) to assist she was giving me a bad attitude as if I was bothering her, when in fact she was standing right next to me doing nothing.
I had forewarned her that I would be giving her a few unwanted items as I couldn't find the correct spot for everything I had put in the cart to decide what to keep & what to return (most was rehung back on the shelf). I didn't want to leave the rest in a pile out of consideration.
When it came to handing the 3 items to Tahlia with the correct hangers she became abusive, rude and obnoxious insinuating I was wasting her time for being there.
Her dealing with the self serve register was no fault of my own.
Handing in the few unwanted items was so I didn't dump them anywhere for staff to not have to deal with a mess.
I had been patient kind and courteous and well organized.
After her verbal attack and bad attitude I just wanted to leave the store immediately but needed the items I took the time to look for. In total I spent $360 and resented the entire experience spent in there due to the rude customer experience.
Kmart should teach trouble staff how to adopt correct customer service. Even if their tired and have 30 minutes till the store closes.
It was convenient to shop their due to location but will be taking my business to target from now on.
Was so annoyed that I wasn't concentrating correctly on the road and made a right turn on a red arrow, being my first time to ever run a red light. Hence double fine and double demerits. That my error, however if I wasn't so upset that would have never happened.
Not impressed. All other staff were helpful. Just got a rotten egg on Sunday.
I bought a radio and phone charger cord i was helped by most helpfull lady could not do enough idont have her name but at back service desk a younger lady Thanks bb
Small shopping centre which my wife likes so we keep going back. Who am I, a mere male to argue.
They had a lot of stock compared to other Kmart stores in Brisbane. Very disappointing customer service. My elderly Mum was there on her own and waited 20 minutes to be served as she can't use self serve. She was directed to the front self serve area and was told someone there could help her. When she got there the girl said she couldn't help her and sent her back to where she's already waited. When I went in to question.the girl as to why she couldn't help my Mum I had to wait till she finished chatting to another young staff member and then told me she didn't have a register and couldn't show Mum how to use self serve. Then she started up her chat again.
Barely any products in stock. Upon asking a staff member when they will receive more stock I was advised "dunno" and they walked off.
Huge store with a great range. Bigger than the store in the centre of Toowoomba and less claustrophobic.
Definately an old favourite. Products and Prices are Amazing. Quality for value. Highly Recommends.
Great location. Advantage is that next door are speciality shops such as Harvey Norman, Rebel sport, plus many more. Great plac to shop. Lots of parking.
All stores and all staff r wonderful always get what I want.toilets r always very clean no matter what time you go seriously
Parking is dreadful, cramped parking spaces.
Trying to manipulate trolleys on slopes dangerous. I am 75 n no longer have strength to control the brutes as I once had.
Not much choice in type of shops.
Coles Supermarket is very very limited in the range of products, n many times I have shopped first thing n the shelves have not been restocked ready for the days business.
O.k for the odd item in emergency.
Didn't have any 5pack hi-cut black knickers for $10 left, and I traveled 2 hours to get there.
You can always get a parking spot at Kmart, the whole centre is always clean and the staff are always helpful and friendly in all the stores, there's everything you need there as well, it's great for one stop shopping.
Very, very hard to find staff to help. When I did, eventually, however, the customer service provided was excellent!
Nice to have a department store so close with our young family. The quality is never fantastic. But that is the sacrifice for cheaper items that the kids will grow out of quickly anyway. I do wonder about the poor overseas workers who make the clothes and I hope that they are treated well. Would be nice to be able to bring back clothes that have been outgrown to be given to the children of the workers who made them.
Excellent shop. Very reasonable prices. Good customer service. Only downside is the new layout of the shop.
Car park is not flat makes it very hard to control shopping trolley, oprn boot and not damage your own car or someone elses
Normally I have no issue with this store and the staff are always helpful. Today however I returned a gym ball that was clearly labelled as 75cm when it is only a smidge bigger than the 55cm. If they are all labeled with the wrong size shouldn't they be removed from the shelf? Perhaps if they had been removed then I wouldn't have had the inconvenience of driving 60km to return the wrong sized ball.
