Kmart Sunnybank reviews
52Exit staff members will grab your arm and touch your bags to search them, even when you've clearly paid.
Such a wonderful store and exceptional assistance from staff, even at this chaotic time of year. A big shout out to the store manager Caleb who went above and beyond in assisting me when I knew he was already so busy. He was so caring and helpful and I'm very impressed with his service. What a truly amazing team. Thank you so much
Hadn't been here for 10 years, pleasantly surprised, the shop is now almost twice as big as it used to be. So many products under one roof. Staff excellent!
Convenient, lovely staff especially the greeters at the front. Always will find what you're looking for and will probably end up going home with things you weren't looking for lol!
VERY CONVENIENT location with restaurants all around you plus smaller Asian retails like Daiso and lots of sweet treat stands nearby. Chemist warehouse is also just around the corner and so is another shopping centre right across the road.
Good service,
good selectsion,
just need to work on consistent stock levels, not bad but not great.
Mariah is an amazing and exceptional employee, will definitely come back when i need a new toaster for my baths.
Nothing to do with staff. But the store layout is sooooooo bad checkouts in the middle of the store makes no sense. And the return policy is beyond a joke will never be shopping here again. And will ba actively telling people to avoid at all costs.
Worst click and collect ive ever done shop closes at like 8 or 9pm but i cant pick up c&c after 5: 40pm I finish work at 5 and got turned away because they were closed
I walk in the front door 5 metres to get what I want and then have to walk to the middle of the store to pay. And for fun walk back pass where I started the shop - ridiculous setup.
Store feels sterile, no atmosphere. Checkouts in middle of store and service desk right down the back, who the hell decided on this new layout it's ridiculous. Lady with blond hair and glasses on the returns counter made me wait for 8 minutes while no one else was lined up, not a hello or anything and was very condescending and rude, go to another kmart if you can, this one ain't it.
Great stock range and excellent service always helpful and able to go the extra bit to help out
Very helpful and lovely staff however management doesn't maintain high standards when comes to cleaning specially at the checkouts! I'll add photos as soon as I can.
Interesting multicultural feel to this complex. It is the real Chinatown of Brisbane. Fortitude Valley used to be and still retains that character but Sunnybank is far more vibrant.
I went in and bought about $30 of stuff. Upon exit, the entrance attendant Shakia requested me to open and check my handbag and each pocket of my backpack. I know she was doing her job but I felt disrespectful. If you worry about people shoplifting, why don't you put your checkouts close to the exit so you can see people are paying for they buy? Alternatively if you worry about big bags why can't you set up some lockers at the entrance so people can probably leave their bags outside before they go in your store? There are many ways to prevent shoplifting but treating everyone like a suspect is not a good way.
Very rubbish kmart cashier here.no payment machine available, very long queue but have cashieres 3 people just standing.once customer asked for check out just 5item.the cashier said this counter is for 1 item or less. So what you guy standing for? Mostly all customer definitely buy more than 1 item.so the kmart manager hire you guys just for this job? Just do service for customer buy 1 item? Super rubbish!
Purchased heaps of stuff in the wknd. Went to use my new hand held vac the next morning, to find it had been opened, cord etc unravelled and USED! Fluff was around the inner filter and a huge BLACK HAIR! I reported it. Staff weren't too concerned. When I returned it to the store, the young lady said " oh, its all good". Clearly this wasn't the case. She totally brushed me off, even when I asked, are you not concerned at all as to how this got returned, and ended up bk on the shelf, without even checking it? ? She was so rude!
The worst experience at checkout.
Staff can't handle anything, just stand and shouting for available machine for checkout.
2 customer front of me were a big family with kids who didn't listen to the staff that make all the line have to wait.
The rude guy behind me just walk through everyone to checkout and staff did nothing.
Then old man came from wherever still walk through again, and yes staff did nothing.
Such a champion.
Both Lockie and Matt are brilliant, they provide exceptional customer service, very fair pricing and all the team are master mechanics
First time visit in a long time. Layout has changed. Clean, spacious store in which items can easily be found with or without staff. I'm very happy with the discounted items. Great value! Self-checkout paying by smartphone was a breeze. Would highly recommend Kmart overall
Bought some items and we were asked to give the trolley back at the entrance because they didn't have any. I asked if we could keep it because we were intending to do some further shopping and our items didn't fit in baskets/bags. I know the girl at the entrance was just trying to do her job but we were told that another customer wanted to buy a microwave and needed it more, which felt really rude. No apology, no thanks.
I normally wouldn't have taken issue to it except my the person I was with had an injured should and was under strict orders from the doctor to not carry anything. I felt so bad that she had to help me to carry the items but we didn't really have any other choice as we were made to feel like we HAD to give back the trolley.
