The girl who was on service desk today was absolutely disgusting to my partner and I, she laughed at us and told us to come back later. Would have been okay if she didn't have such an attitude.

Served by Alicia who had an attitude the whole time. Getting paid Saturday rates to be rude to customers, i'm in retail management and that was pathetic, I'll be taking this further.

K-MART is a great place to shop for the whole entire family from bedding kitchen Ware shoes and socks odds and ends kids ware house accessories and just about anything that you can grab your hands on they even have school books and stationary bike accessories kids bikes and adults as well

I like this Kmart as it's always pretty tidy. Strangely my favorite part is seeing the same happy employee at the entrance greeting everyone and checking the receipts.

Kmart used to have a great layout and selection of toys. Now its like they dont care. Not my first choice in department stores

Let's be honest, KMart is a magical place. The lines at Chermside check out seem massive but the plethora of staff get them through very quickly

Love this place, staff are good and pleasant, big shop, usually the stock is good too. And they have markdowns too unlike the one in gardencity.

The store is always clean and there is always staff around if you ever need help. Only problem is the checkout, it is honestly horrible. Not even Christmas period and the checkout lines will have you waiting for 5-7 minutes to buy something. If I’m buying one thing I really don’t want to be waiting in the line that long! Sometimes I even just leave the item because it’s just not worth waiting that long honestly.

The store provided many utilities and other utensils that you would only be able to use once or twice. And the staff seem to be either programmed robots or socially awkward. Especially one staff member who was rude to the other employees when I was near by. Does not inspire a team effort within the work place.

Not a fan of Kmart in general. Too crowded, cheap inferior quality and sizing is either too small or waaay too big. Also, checkout in the middle of the store is stupidity.

Low stock levels/empty shelves everywhere and the stupidest checkout system/location possible. Feels more like a Reject Shop than a department store.

Terrible experience from a staff member I guess her name is "Wendy"who was at the counter on 27 January 2021 at 2: 35 pm.
I have been there for like 2 hours making calls and getting things from one end to other end for some stage deccoration at church. There were no white flat sheets availble other than from the whole set whuch I have no use for. That was for some decorations we planned, so instead I took some curtains (3-4) along with other stuffs I have been shopping from past 2 hours.
I wanted to check with one another shop about the sheets before checking it out as that was more appropriate for tge program. So I asked I tried calling a staff who gave me no response and yeah, I thought she was busy, so I waited there. For about 3-4 minutes and then a store-boy passed by and I asked him whether I could this hold this trolly for about 10-15 minutes as I gotta check one more shop before buying the curtains. He siad, yeah man its cool, ask that lady at the counter. And she was busy so I waited again and when she made a contact from far I tried calling her but she turned away, I waited patiently. And then when that guy came back he saw me standing there so he decided to help me by asking her. When he went and asked, she dint even give a look at here which clearly says she saw me standing there for sometime and was avoiding purposefully. She clearly told him "NO"! He tried convincing her but she was totally saying "NO". I mean saying no is one thing maybe its their code to be kept. But being rude and avoiding a customer is disrespecting. Cuz after all those time I have spend there making lot of calls in between before taking each product, at the end this is where it ends. I left the trolly there and told the guy thanks for trying and left the trolly there and came out.
I felt really disrespected. Even if she wanted to say "No" could gave done it a better way. Real bad attitude to a customer, I'm a Masters of Business Administration graduate and I have served customers for some time now. From what I have learned and experienced, this is not at all the way to treat a customer.

Like all, Kmarts, the variety of stock on offer is huge, the only difference with this one is that the store is ALOT bigger. Staff are more friendly here, compared to others I have been to. Well managed and clean. I definitely enjoy coming here regularly.

I would have given it 5stars if the checkouts weren't so awkwardly placed it does discourage spontaneous purchases as you exit the shop. Otherwise variety of stock, cleanliness of the shop and friendly staff plus price earned K-Mart the 4 stars

Layout is a bit confusing but the staff can always point you in the right direction. Never had an issue going here most weeks for bits n bobs.

Kmart no longer has the range of products it used to have and the layout of the store makes many items difficult to find. It's more like an oversized import shop than a department store nowadays. The positioning of the checkouts is ridiculous; I recently saw a queue to get out of the store as the overworked exit monitor waited for a shopper to find a docket that she'd packed away! While the checkout supervisors did a stirling job moving crowds through over Christmas, it did make the centre of the store sound like a fruit market when the fruiterer shouts out to attract customers. At least I can usually get items I can't find at Kmart just down the mall at Big W!

Middle aged tall skinny bloke with glasses who often works the door checking receipts needs to chill.
I was leaving the store along with at least 10-15 other people and he wasn’t paying attention and suddenly was only chasing ME out the door. I showed the receipt and to his surprise everything was paid for in my bag. He didn’t approach any of my friends I was with so sadly I think he singled me out due to having many visible tattoos. Many other people have complained about this same staff member so I think he needs a talking to or taken off the door for a while.
