Kmart Cannon Hill reviews
51 Had an amazing customer service experience with a staff member named Sam. Had a rug with an issue that was irritating me. I called Cannon Hill and got Sam. He asked a few questions then off he went and checked the others to see if they were the same, which they weren’t. He put a new one aside for me, arranged the exchange and I was on my way in. Then I get there and he spots me at the service desk with another staff member (who was also great) and grabs the new rug to help his team mates!
I really liked this rug and had to go to a few stores to find it. So when Sam isolated the issue as a defect with my particular rug, I was excited that I was able to exchange it and he managed to have one there for me. He listened to me, resolved the issue quickly, spotted me holding the old rug in the shop, helped his team mates and then he scooted off to do something else.
Excellent member of your team. And massive thanks buddy! Credit where due.
Matt
Easily accessible parking. Welcoming entrance. Staff member only too happy to direct me to product I sought. Pleasant self-service assistant. Can't fault my visit here.
I'm not thrilled everytime I walk into that Kmart shop at cannon hill. They look like there so depressed, if you don't like your job, find a job that makes you happy. They can't even speak to you when you have issues with the do it yourself register. Won't be returning there.
I want to see which sustainability report states using 3 times the required packaging for click and collect orders is acceptable?
Kmart need to be much MUCH more responsible for it effect on the environment.
Update 23/03: still no update from Kmart, starting to think they've forgotten about my feedback
Since last 4 months, this Kmart is either low on stock or has empty shelves for essentials. Right in the middle of the winters, it was missing hoodies and long sleeves. Some home good products have empty shelves and broken items still placed in shelves. It was not the Kmart what it used to be a year ago.
The stock is okay. Lots of items missing however. Layout could be updated but still generally good for an older building.
Since the removation it is terrible. Empty shelves, advertised stock unavailable, even simple items lacking. I am stopping shopping there and will go to Big W now for my basic items.very disappointing
I love Kmart shops in general. Variety of things to shop. Kmart Canon Hill is where I do most of my shopping. Good shop
Just finished renovation and upgrades and it looks great! Good mix of shops with Kmart, Coles as anchors and Woolworths and Aldi towards the Eastern side of the complex. Ample free parking.
I am a big Kmart fan. There are so many good items available. But they are never available at Cannon Hill Kmart. Every time you go in there for something you want, it's sold out. And no, I'm not talking about 1 time. I've been in there several times for the same thing and it's always sold out. It's been furniture, kitchen supplies, clothing, dog supplies you name it. Because we're not all a bunch of stay-at-home mothers on Kmart Mum's Facebook page waiting for new stock to come in and pack raid the store.
An average Kmart school with the usual items on Alpha and the greed like the rest of them making a lot of extra money by charging people for bags which is disgraceful
This used to be a good K-Mart, but since the recent redesign I hate shopping there. The layout is confusing and there is no line of sight to easily find what you are looking for. They have gotten rid of the manned checkouts, and replaced them with auto checkouts (like Target). The checkouts are inexplicably placed in the centre of the store. I will be shopping at Big-W, which hasn't yet embraced this madness yet!
Was at Kmart Cannon Hill the day it opened. It has reinvented itself a few times and not always for the better. Getting rid of Holly's Restaurant was a mistake - even if it wasn't making money it provided a great customer service and bought people into the store. The other huge mistake is the current checkout set-up which most of the customers hate. Having said that the products are good and value for money. Come a long way since selling guns and ammo back in the 70's. I will still keep coming back but would love to see Holly's back - always felt like I was coming home when I could sit and have breakfast or coffee before starting my shopping. And you could always say to friends that you would meet them there!
Staff were really helpful
Just like any other Kmart in australia really but giving them a 5 star purely based upon exceptional service pretty much:)
Hey it just got done up. And it looks cool. But can I just say it is still eerie walking around a Kmart at 8pm on a Saturday.
I decided to print quite a lot of photos via Kmart Photocentre Snapfish. This is the worst picture quality I've seen in my life and the printing process took about 10 days. Kmart people, please, don't deal with Snapfish. That was absolute waste of time and money.
I had the worst experience in this store today, which is disappointing because I used to love shopping here! I asked a simple question to a staff member who was scanning in the entertainment department about an item and she rudely referred me to the customer service desk saying “it has nothing to do with me. Go over there” I was then greeted by a lady at the customer service desk who was even worse! Nice, simple and polite question about stock, I wasn’t asking them to move mountains. I work in retail, I know what customers are like. That kind of attitude should be saved for customers that actually deserve it. This is my local store but I will no longer shop here ️
Far too many empty shelves. Specifically checked online to see if they had stock, but alas they didn't. Staff weren't too helpful either.
I had put in a order for Click and collect, was told to come in and collect it, I waited 2 HOURS before they decided to tell me the order was cancelled, I told them I wanted refund, but instead I got a email saying that they are getting delivered for free, they have been delayed for about month. This store has very few staff that are actually helpful, the rest are mentally inept. Going into kmart isnt easy, its a 35 minute trip, there and back for me. I am so disappointed.
They had what I went there for. The fact that I went there specifically for things I'd seen on their website probably had something to do with that.
