Kirwan Tavern

Whenever I have eaten at this Tavern I always enjoy the food immensely. The servings are generous and the prices are extremely reasonable. I enjoyed the Lamb Cutlets. Customer Service Officers - Tamika and Rachel were very efficient and welcoming and provided table service and assistance in a timely manner.

10 people in there on a Friday night speaks volumes. Third table there and run out of every special?

Fish and chips - Fish inedible.

No toppers for Chicken Snitty's.

Rest mediocre.

Garlic bread was good.

Very poor steaks, almost cold, full of gristle and 104 dollars for 3 meals and an on tray is a joke.

We ordered steak and fish. Steak was chewy, and fish was cooked dead and dry. Staff were friendly and food was served quickly. We ordered, ate and left in 30 minutes.

Recently dined at the Kirwan Tavern and can not fault the meals or service.
All steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, salads were fresh and chips were hot.
Thank you to Matt the staff member on the floor who was efficient and friendly.

Just wondering the reviews how much the the new owner paid for the reviews as every time I try to go they charge like their a steak house but can't produce the quality just saying don't expect to get value for ur money

Karen and Jay are so friendly and welcoming as are all employees. They went the extra mile to ensure I had a wonderful birthday lunch. The food is super delicious and fresh and the facilities are spacious. It's a great place to enjoy good food and a chat with loved ones or friends.

Positives - enclosed children's playground, drink specials. Negatives- dated, pub food (eg schnitzel) frozen supermarket quality but quite expensive. Good for a causal family dinner.

Great place for lunch, the specials are about average priced, but really good serving size, meals came out quickly and quite helpful staff.

Usually go to Brothers but gave Kirwan a go on Thurs, was great, lady on front was great. Went back today totally different experience. Older lady on front desk, not pleasant or welcoming, puts me off going again.

Very poor customer service by the young lady in the gaming room everything is an effort for her and when asked for a coffee she states that she doesn't know how to make coffee and won't use the coffee machine as she has burnt herself on it maybe some staff training would be a good idea!

Decided to give this place a go as I’d never been, To start off with Service was shocking, ordered a chicken schnitzel put blatantly if I wanted rubber I would’ve gone to a tyre shop! Wont be back.

My family and I thought hey so many great recommendations for the food so we gave it a try 4 meals came to $118 which is fine but God were the meals terrible we got 250g steak with Prawns as a topper meant to come with 5 Prawns for $9 I got 4prawns for $9.we couldn't eat the steak also the veg (brocoli and coliflower) was that raw we thru it out.we got 2x crumb steaks and I swear it wasn't even steak! The texture of it tasted and felt like it was from a can. Also got the beer battered barra that wasn't to bad probably the most decent meal of the lot! My 2 yr old couldn't even it any of the meals as they were that bad.never will return also asked for tartare sauce and I didn't receive it. Very sad.

Sunday night was nice and quiet. 7 of us dined and all enjoyed our meals. The prawns were fresh. The fried ice cream was huge, bigger than a normal serve and priced accordingly. Staff were lovely.

Amazing service right from making the booking. The staff were so helpful, thank you Victoria, Matt, Immy, Sarah and Peo. The food was as amazing as the service, what a treat for my family. We will certainly be back, thank you so much Kirwan Tavern!

DO NOT GO HERE! Quite literally the worst restaurant ive been to in my life.waited ages to be seated and it was quiet, the staff were just having a chat at the bar, the staff who by the way were the rudest people ive ever met.worst food ever and most ridiculous pricing.gave my brother in laws food poisoning.mcdonalds can do better.i work in hospitality and would be ashamed if to work here.do better

This place needs to get their act together - there have been multiple days when they are meant to be open at 10am and have failed to open. Multiple people waiting outside for over half an hour and no changes to opening hours or signage to indicate that they aren't opening.

Open at the time you advertise that you're open or provide advance notice to patrons that you have changed your opening times! I have a very disgruntled family member who is regularly inconvenienced by this lack of professionalism.

A great place for dining in with the family. Good selection of meals, friendly staff. Highly recommend oh and delicious desserts to finish a meal off with too!

Unfortunately Sue was on an RDO, so no reliving old times. The Tavern has been flashed up quite a bit. Still a cool spot.
