Kirwan GP Clinic

I do appreciate my gp here (dr Collins) and he is possibly the kindest and most empathetic doctor I have had the pleasure of seeing. He deserves 5 stars.

However, I fail to see the point of having appointments available, if they continuously run 30mins/1+hr late. I do understand and appreciate unexpected events occur, perhaps more GPs ned to be hired OR a better schedule needs to be created as it is not a good for “best practice” to have to wait over an hour past your scheduled appointment time while unwell.

Every single time about 30 to 1hour behind what's the point of an appointment. Then tell me hes the only bulk bill but still charge me 80 odd to see him look at that another appointment not held by the doctor

Really you make appointments to suit your schedule not theirs and you do the right thing get there 10 mins early only to find that the doctor your seeing turns up 40 mins late really and we pay these people if i turned up late i would get in trouble prob lose job

One reception lady very loud wants everyone to know your details. Every person she seen we can hear her say all there details. Needs to tone her voice down. Think she is doing good but its a bad look!

I took my young child to see Dr. Amrit Pal Singh for an urgent matter and was pleased with the helpful manner in which he treated my child. Best GP's in town

We went there at 07: 45 pm, (they close at 09: 00 pm) and we asked to see a doctor only for a prescription… nobody was there… 0 patients.just the 2 receptionists and the doctor with the door open. They refuse to see us… what’s the point of stay open until 09: 00 pm if they don’t want to work? We will never go there again.

Extremely disgusting service. The doctors are great, however appointments booked via their app gets cancelled without notification, the reception staff and practice manager are never helpful nor compassionate and always extremely long wait times without being advised. Complaints are no dealt with or resolved.

I have been going to Dr Amrit Singh for over 10 years. Happy with his service never had any issues. Great office starff.

My booking was taken. When I got there the booking was cancelled by the doctor without notification. When I finally seen a doctor they had no clue what was going on.

Very poor service no one apologise for anything sitting waiting for an hour people that arrive after you go in before you reception is no help at all would not recommend

Tried to find a new regular doctor to manage my childs longterm medical condition, and was not treated very nice. Dr even insinuated my childs specialist diagnosis from the hospital might be wrong. Ridiculous.

If you have a real condition don't bother. Dr. Amrit Singh has no compassion or understanding about chronic pain. Rather then starting with my conditions he went straight to what pain meds are you on, because they think everyone is a junkie. I wasn't even after meds on that day but was looking for a doctor closer to me that understood my needs and knew how DVA operated. He didn't even want to look at my photos of my knees the size of mellions or other photos showing what I go through. He didn't even bother looking at the pharmaceutical website that shows how regularly I take my meds. He has no understanding of pain and it's no wonder he was the only doctor available.

Disappointed. Came in for my appointment, I was ok waiting long because i thought some appointments take longer than expected. What really annoyed me was to see walk-in appointment that came after me seeing the doctor before me whike I sit in waiting for 45+mins Not sure whether if it was because of race or what because when I brought it to receptionist's attention they didn't even apologise for it.

One of the best Doctors in Town. Some people might have issues with respect to time slots but for me if a Doctor is Good everything else is secondary

Docotrs are competent but managment is atrocious. Take bookings with zero intent of meeting the timeslot. 8am, first booking of the day and the doctor isn't even expected onsite for half an hour.

Like many others the main issue we find with this clinic is their inability to manage appointments and walk ins. Since the first review there has been little change. There are occasions first thing in the morning you will be seen on time with an appointment, especially during the covid lock down period. As we return to the new normal so does Kirwan GP. Any time after 10am you will experience long waits. If you need to walk in prepare to be told to come back later and then be prepared to be told they are over whelmed and to come back the following day.

Don't go for the first appointment of the day, doctors will arrive 30+ minutes after your appointment time or whenever they feel like.

Came in as a walk in. Waited for over an hour. Receptionist said I was next but 20 minutes later still didn't get seen. 4 people seen the doctors when I was supposedly next. Lady who came in as a walk in after me got seen before I did. Bad experience and would not recommend.

I've seen four doctors from this clinic. None have been able to assist or investigate any of my concerns. Dont present with anything more serious than minor, they cant/wont help.

If I could put no stars, I would. The receptionists are very rude like wise for the doctor's. Absolutely horrible and would not recommend.
