Kingswim Carindale reviews
6The instructor is nice and professional. My bubba had good time there. However, I have to say I am extremely disappointed with their policy about make up class. They don’t allow for rescheduling of make up class for any reason. This morning I called kingswim Carindale to reschedule a makeup class as I was concerned that my daughter may get sick on such rainy day. Kingswim Carindale’s pool is not hot enough even though they defend every time when telling staff that. They also consistently cancel classes due to the heating issue which is a proof. I was told on the phone that a make up class cannot be rescheduled for any reasons. It sounds so funny and ridiculous when I asked “even it is flooding? Hailing? Or Bub is sick? ” and the staff answered yes. No rescheduling or refund! This is not fair to customers at all.
Day to day business very good! The staff are friendly and give there best. BUT wait until you have to deal with out of the norm things like accidental double charging for the same service. Than you r left alone. There payment system and record keeping appears to be a mess. However seems to be more of an company head office issue.
Great facilities and some Really good instructors here, great patience with the kids.
Fair amount of turnover of instructors, makes you wonder about management/working conditions. Also, dont dare question the manager lady. Asked a couple of questions over the phone one time (after being informed a medical certificate is required for absence due to my son being in hospital requiring nasal surgery for 3 weeks. Despite still paying the almost $100 a month fee, made the mistake of asking for some understanding/accommodation due to the circumstances which is apparently frowned upon) and she now seemingly makes a point to ignore us. Will quite literally welcome and say hello to Every Single other parent including those sitting either side of us, but will deliberately avoid making eye contact/acknowledging our presence making us feel quite unwelcome and less valued than everybody else makes it a very disappointing experience. Have paid for many lessons we havent been able to attend and have never been engaged to discuss make up lessons etc.
Would easily be a 5 star rating with a little effort/genuine customer service from the manager.
Their customer service is absolutely fantastic and they stick to their policies which is really satisfying because you know you'll get what you're signing up for.
My 3 year old daughter loves the water but since coming to Kings she spends most of her time sitting on the edge. Her teacher should study child psychology rather than restrict my daughters' access to the pool. My other daughter 12 years old (wants to learn correct swimming techniques) but has been placed in a class with less proficient children. If you want your children to learn to swim shop around and give Kings a miss. The fast track program is not fast tract! If there was a zero star that would be my rating of Kings. Dr Tony Doulman
