Kings Road Fish Bar

I ordered a fish burger today. The fish was cooked well and tasty but the burger bun itself was dry and crumbly. Chips a a bit dry/floury in texture.

Always have had a good reputation in town and they lived up to it tonight. Fish was delicious, crumb and batter was thin and not greasy. Fish was huge pieces. I’ll go back but only went here cause my regular shop was shut.

So yummy, fresh fish (got the barramundi) and calamari was superb! The lady that attended was very friendly and patient too. Fast service, reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this place

Need to rip a hole in the paper so the steam can vent out. Fish & chips were soggy by the time we got home (5 mins drive) unfortunately.

All dishes looked very well done atmosphere was good service very good and fast. Ample parking in the area burgers were excellent

Food is fantastic! The service is always spot on as well. I can recommend the fish and salad sandwiches if you're undecided about what to eat. BBQ & Aioli sauce together set it off.

Employees were incredibly kind, it was my first time at kings Rd fish Bar and the employees were patient, it was apparent they knew their regular customers by name which is great. Fast service, delicious food, and good prices. Thanks guys.

Absolutely amazing! The new owners are doing an amazing job and on Easter the customers were supporting them by lining up by the dozens! Was a great atmosphere even while lined up waiting for my pre-order. Excellent sign when you have happy customers waiting in a line for a quality product.

I don't like writing a bad review but I'm very disappointed with the fish chips and potato scallops I got. The crumbed mackerel well all of it was way overcooked very dry and chewy. I tried to eat some but threw it away. And I asked for a very small scoop of chips. I got enough to feed 10 people. Won't be back.

It was my first time ordering from kings road fish bar, and well I'm very impressed it's hard to find fresh fish and chips and this one is on par.

Very busy and quick service food is excellent recomend for any one to go get fish and chips or burgers from here

We just moved close by and thought we'd give them a try. The traditional calamari was well worth the $. We will be back. Great fish burgers too.

Greek traditional calamari is unreal.enjoy traveling from Bowen just to buy some from King's Rd fish shop.it's truly worth it!

Best fish n chips in Townsville. Prawns were too good too. We love this place for take away fish n chips.
