I wish as parents we had the pleasure of giving positive feed back about this daycare. Unfortunately we pulled our child out due to a string of events. The manager shows lack of knowledge of her service provided, lack of communication with her educators on a day to day basis.

I was trying to look for 6 stars rating but unfortunately not available. Libby and her team is incredible in the way creating a positive culture and happy place for educators and staff. We had to transfer our child from other centre and wondering why we did not visit this lovely Papilio earlier. After fifth date, very first time our little boy told me in the car "Daddy, I like Papilio" on the way home and he did ask me in the morning to make he could pronounce Papilio as close as possible. I was almost holding my tears as it was an amazing moment after all kind of stresses from transfer, baby sitting at home as only 2 days/week available at centre, etc. Now we have to relocate a near-home centre as 45 mins commuting is too much for him and upset his night time after falling sleep on the way home. We're regretful to leave this week and will be dearly missed such a great time at Papilio Wakerley. Well done and thank you Team.

Such a wonderful centre! After looking at a few in the area, this one felt like home. The educators are kind, nurturing and across every aspect of my child’s day. He loves going to daycare and I feel safe leaving him in their care.

Great centre and exceptional educators (including the office staff). Our little girl loves going to daycare each week. Her day is filled with wonderful educational and devopmental activies to keep her busy and learning.

There has been a lot of changes within the centre the last few months but the changes implemented are to the benefit of all kids and we a very happy with this daycare.

But I think there is always room for improvement.

I’ve had my child in care at Papilio for over 6 months and very happy with the facility and care he is receiving. Have definitely notified an improvement in the facility since being rebranded from Kindy Kapers to Papilio. Money has been spent on furniture/toys/equipment as well as full outdoor renovation.

I am very happy with the staff that care for my little one in toddler room. They make him feel secure on drop off with positive and bright energy so he doesn’t have any tears and is happy to be left in their care for the day. Thanks Papilio staff for your hard work. Keep up the good work!

Papilio formerly Kindy Kapers has been part of our village since our eldest was 12 months old. Under Libby’s leadership and formally Kylie’s the Centre has had a beautiful maker over physically and an educational revamp. Our son had a wonderful start to school this year due to the amazing Kindy teacher and my daughter is loving Junior Kindy! The staff are kind, caring and supportive if your child is having a bad day. We had a hump in the road with changing leadership and staff in 2021 and 2022 however the Centre has listened to feedback and is now exactly like the Centre that attracted us initially. Thank you Libby and the team for your patience, support and listening.

Absolutely love Papilio Wakerley, both my daughter and my nephew attend this service and it has always been such a positive experience. My daughter loves kindy so much so that she has increased her days attended due to her constantly asking to go. The Educators and Teachers are exceptional paying close attention to details and the small things that make a huge difference to my daughter and our family. Every Staff member knows my daughter and our family and the center itself oozes that warm family feeling. 100% recommend this service.

This used to be the premier bayside early child care center with fantastic staff - not anymore. Staff who have been there for years and were talented beyond measure have walked out in disgust at the new managements approach to resourcing which impacts child safety. Unfortunately Infinity Group have been cutting corners by violating rules regarding staff to student ratios. They have been counting the admin staff in the office towards the ratios of the classroom - often leading to 1 educator being left to supervise a whole class by themselves.

Since Quadrant Private Equity Group bought out Affinity Education it has gone backwards with 75% of staff resigning. Avoid Papilio at all costs as they are profit motivated.

Terribly disappointing what has become of kindy Kapers, Affinity education who own kindy Kapers have been a major let down to staff and families. Almost all staff resigned within weeks of each other which left majority of the families no choice but to also leave.
Affinity turned a blind eye to staffs requests for help. Ratio of educators to children were not been met, staff lunch breaks were cut and they had no support from Affinity
This is the most expensive childcare Center in the area and was once worth every penny and more but now I would not recommend anyone send their child here

We have been so happy with Kindy Kapers Wakerley. Both of our boys attended this service. We have valued the educators in all of the rooms they’ve been in. They put a lot of effort into detailed weekly educational plans and engage the children in interesting activities each day. Parents receive daily updates of learnings/activities through Storypark. We would highly recommend this service.

Been here for just over two years. My little mans favourite educator is still his favourite she knows him, his interests and needs so well I always know he will have an excellent day when I see her in the morning!

Wonderful center, educators are all so caring and lovely. We have been apart of the KK Family for 5 years with both our children attending since 12 months of age. Highly recommend.

I am so happy we found Kindy Kapers Wakerly. After a couple of uncomfortable trials at other centres, when I walked into the Kindy 2 room it looked creative, inspiring and magical which for me I feel a classroom needs to be able to grab the attention of students. The director Alana personally gave the tour unlike other centres and promptly answered all questions and concerns I had about my son starting. The Kindy 2 teachers Marina and Yeshmina were very welcoming and happy to talk about any concerns or queries I had, and Scotty at the front desk was quick to respond with any enrollment or sign up questions I had. All of the staff, have been friendly and forthcoming with information and updates even without prompting including for example the teacher from the Kindy 1 room. Knowing about their history and time spent at the centre over the years was also great to be aware of. I was encouraged to call in to see how my son was settling and the lovely Kellie in kindy 2 room gave me a detailed update on his first and second days, her updates on story park are great and my son looks at these even on the days he does not attend so he knows whats been happening. By the weekend of his second day my son kept asking when he could go back to school, and again the following week. Hes had a great experience settling in and talks about his activities when he comes home. The story park app gives great updates on activities and meals and the menu is fantastic, rather than sticking to bland and boring the meals have variety and nutritional value.

There isn't much more I could ask for or expect from my sons first daycare/kindy experience and I highly recommend this centre. I'm relieved we persued different centres until we found the right fit. Alana and her team are doing a fantastic job.

Love the service provided by KK staff, always going above and beyond despite the challenges courtesy of all the lockdowns.
I had to pick up my sons sister yesterday to help pry him away from the vely staff at KK because he didn't want to leave with just my persuasion!

Kindy Kapers has been incredibly welcoming and accepting of our family since the moment we arrived. The team have gone out of their way to help meet our needs and accommodate any requests with professionalism and a friendly smile. We have every confidence in the educators who all go the extra mile with passion to provide a safe, stimulating, culturally diverse and thorough education experience.
Even throughout the uncertainty of COVID, Alana and the team have always strived to provide learning experiences above and beyond the call of duty both within the centre and on structured outings. We highly recommend Kindy Kapers.

Terribly disappointed is the right word to describe my experience with Kindy Kapers (owned by Affinity Education). The centre has progressively dropped in standards since it was taken over by Affinity Education. I pulled out my child for the following reasons:

Staffing changes are constant (the number of staff who have come and gone in recent years is frightening and as a result, Agency staff have had to be employed). Children need consistency and stability. Having new staff every week does not allow young ones to build strong and trusting relationships with their Educators.

Quality of learning activities, resources and environments do not meet expectations for an exceeding service. Individual needs of children are difficult to cater for (e.g. Sleep routines, toilet training, behavioural management). Communication is poor and Educators need to be prompted to provide quality information about your child’s day and progress towards individual goals.

Meals provided are below expectations (Educators have taken on the role of centre cook in the past and menus have also been developed by inexperienced Educators). Extra curricular activities such as yoga, languages, music and incursions were included in the fee (which has seen year on year increases) but have not been offered in years.

Concerns are dismissed and often ignored, and management are quick to show anyone the door who may have a genuine complaint.

I had high praise for Kindy Kapers under previous leadership and it was a centre where parents felt heard and their input (both positive and negative) was appreciated. There used to be a strong community focus which has also diminished. For anyone considering this service, I suggest you speak to those who have left and their reasons for doing so. This will assist you in making a well-informed decision about whether Kindy Kapers is the right place for you and your child and will meet your personal expectations. The good news is that it can’t get any worse and improvements will have to be made in order to maintain their exceeding rating. Good luck with your research and final choice!

I just want to say that my daughter is blossoming in Kindy One and its not only me who thinks so, family have noticed this as well. She is very engaged and is excited by the variety of things she is learning and experiencing each week. I've also noticed her writing has taken off and she often asks me how words are spelt so she can write them out herself. After a shaky start to her final kindy year it's all coming together now Thank you all for doing such a great job! - Proud parent in Kindergarten One

My Son attended this Kindy for 4 years and I was pleased with the service. Lydia and her team are nothing but the best in the industry and can not fault them. I still see the teachers in the community and they still acknowledge me and my family.

Both of my children have attended Kindy Kapers and I couldn't recommend Kindy Kapers high enough. All the staff are friendly, approachable and passion about providing a safe, nurturing educational environment for all children. Kindy Kapers provide child focused program that incorporates different cultures, sustainability, community and nature in a fun play based learning for children. I love getting my daily updates of my children's day on storypark. Fantastic childcare centre!
