We have been with capers since August 2020 and have had a wonderful experience. So many wonderful educators who take the time to get to know your children. We love the staff, excellent inside space for rainy days, complimentary coffee in the morning and the fact they have farm animals.
I just love getting photo updates of the kids feeding and caring for the animals.
We looked at MANY childcare facilities but Clayfield Capers stood out amongst the rest.

Both my sons attended Kids Capers Clayfield since they were 12 months and loved it. The staff have always been easily approachable and helpful with any concerns, and promptly responding to any emails I may send.
My kids have especially enjoyed the animals they have at the centre and many activities and excursions they host. I especially love the inclusion of the First Nations artworks and culture in their curriculum.
Would highly recommend!

Our daughter has attended Kids Capers Clayfield since she was 6 months old, we have loved how approachable and understanding all the educators are.

We as a family have enjoyed attending Kids Capers, the amount of additions to this centre is what sold us. Animals, swimming lessons, great playgrounds and daily photos and updates.

Highly recommend this centre to anyone looking.

This is an amazing centre with really great communication and educators. The outdoor areas are amazing and the little farm area is great for the kids to interact with farm animals. Our son loves it here and drop off's are so easy when they enjoy it. The free coffee every morning is also a nice bonus!

There’s been some truly wonderful staff at capers over the many years we’ve been there, lots of lovely connections made and friendships fostered which I’m really grateful for. Over the last year, however, we’ve experienced many deeply concerning issues. I’ve taken time raise them on multiple occasions and we’ve seen no real change or improvement to the service. We’ve been so saddened and disappointed by our last few months at the centre.

I was so hesitant to part with my son, even for a few hours, as it's always been just the two of us but I'm so thankful I gave Capers a go because it's been an incredible experience. I cannot fault the centre or any of the staff at all, he genuinely LOVES attending day care now and I feel so content when I drop him off. We have had no issues at all since he started, Everyone continues to go above and beyond for us and we are so thankful to have found a centre like this.

Our daughter enjoyed attending this daycare mainly before Miss Tealisha and Miss Steph left. They were very caring and really took care on the kids' well-being. But we weren't impressed when our daughter got frequently bitten by a boy in her class in Centre 1 (About 5 times in 6 weeks) - the daycare had a couple of preventative actions in place but in the end they moved our daughter into another class as their 3rd option although only after we personally spoke to management. The daycare has had a few outbreaks of RSV, HF&M, gastro & COVID in the past year.unfortunately I can't compare it to other daycares but we do think some of the rooms looked crowded when the daycare is fully booked hence more chance of spreading germs. Although some sickness and incidents, there are a good range of activities and some other good daycare educators there too in Centre 1. Despite some other good educators (Miss Shona, Mr James although Mr James also left), there did seem like a high staff turnover last year which can be disruptive when some kids are starting to build trust with educators, but the changes were communicated well through weekly newsletter. Also, with enrolment dates, the daycare had incorrectly put our daughter's end date as 31 January 2022 instead of 31 December 2021 and they said it can't be fixed. I think this daycare is good enough for most kids but could make a few improvements

Our daughter has been attending Kids Capers at Clayfield for over two years and we only have good things to say about the Capers family.

The educators are caring and attentive to all children with our little one building strong bonds with them.

Although a large centre, it is split between three centres at the same location depending on the child's age providing appropriate play equipment for various age categories. We were particularly drawn to the facilities at Centre 3 (pre-kindy and kindy) which is where our daughter is now. It has an animal farm, a huge sandpit, a fort, a whole room dedicated to art, another one to music and a library for children to attend. The centre also offers extracurricular activities such as dance lessons which our daughter looks forward to on a weekly basis.

Overall, I believe it is an exceptional childcare centre with plenty on offer for kids to look forward to and have their minds preoccupied.

Searching for a childcare with educators who would take care of my baby was very stressful, I’m so glad we found Kids Capers! I’ve now had 2 kids with a combined 8 years at Capers and have always been very happy with the caring and thoughtful educators.

They have great indoor and outdoor spaces (including animals!), provide all meals (more variety than I could imagine) and have done a wonderful job in prep readiness for my eldest who went through their kindy program.

We absolutely love our Capers Family. We have been a part of the Clayfield centre since our boy was in the nursery and as a first time mum, it was an emotional transition to go back to work but the team put us so at ease, regular updates on Educa and reassurance from management to call and check in anytime was such a relief.

Our little boy just adores it, he has grown up through Centre 1 and 2 forging strong friendships with his peers and building some beautiful relationships with his educators.

The team provide so much more than I could ever imagine we could do at home and the kids are encouraged to learn through play, aren’t afraid to let them be kids and get a little dirty.

Our son loves it so much he even asks to go on weekends!

We cannot rate this daycare highly enough and I’m quite sad we will eventually have to say goodbye as we progress to Primary School.

I love everything about Kids Capers Clayfield. My son went there for 3 years and did the Kindy program there as well and he is now in Prep, which they prepared him perfectly for. My daughter is still there and has been for the past 2 years and is loving it and thriving. The staff are all fantastic and facilities and food supplied is all perfect. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We moved from Sydney not knowing where to send our children for care in Brisbane. I am so thankful we ended up at Kids Capers Clayfield. The Staff genuinely care for the children and welcome them with big hugs every morning. The facilities are great and the animals were a big attraction for my children. Happily recommend this centre.

We started with Kids Capers Clayfield in July 2020 with my older girl (3 yrs old at the time), then in Sep 2020 with my younger girl as well (11 mths at the time). I like that the educators here are excellent at communicating, they seem to have a genuine interest in getting to know my children and helping them grow. Having experienced another childcare with high staff turnover, I appreciate the staff stability at Kids Capers, they must be happy here! Parents receive weekly newsletter as well as staff roster, and management is very responsive to emails. My older girl also attends swimming lessons and "dance along" program provided in the center, she loves it. These are optional with extra charge, but I appreciate the convenience of not having to drive her to swim lessons on the weekend, on top of other activities. I'd happily recommend Kids Capers Clayfield to my friends.

We love Kids Capers at Clayfield. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. They really have genuine, caring relationships with families and kids. The communication at Kids Capers can't be faulted with weekly newsletters and rosters as well as daily posts throughout the day. Rosters are really carefully thought out so that kids generally have a familiar face to be greeted by at the start of the day and someone to report back to parents at the end of the day. The facilities are clean with large open spaces with lots of opportunity for fresh air and sunshine. Having animals at the centre is also such a novelty for the kids. The centre also offers extracurricular activities such as swimming. Nappies and fresh, on site meals are also provided (so good!). I highly recommend this centre!

Kids Capers is our extended family! In the 4 years we have been going there, the educators have done an exceptional job caring for and teaching our two babies - and us parents too! We love the extra activities - animals, swimming, excursions, but really we love how they love our kids - can't ask for much more than that!

Clayfield Capers is a fabulous centre with a holistic approach to caring and educating the children. My daughter has made very good friends through this centre. Their philosophy aligns with the school she will be attending next year, Eagle Junction State School. I'm very happy with the staff, resources and facilities.

My toddler has left this centre unfortunately due to us having to relocate. Clayfield Capers has fantastic educators, they made my daughter really feel at home and showed genuine love and care for all the kids. The place is also very clean and tidy. The rooms have ample space as do their outdoor play areas. Very pleased to have experienced their service.
