Kenmore Village Shopping Centre reviews
52Nice little shopping centre. Disappointed that there aren't any security to keep it safe
Only come to this neck of the woods twice a year I love this centre for its unique shops Deli is fabulous and always helps us with a delicious selection of food for our craft weekend with the girls.
Getting a bit old now and somewhat crowded. Any remaining space will be consumed by current expansion.
It's a bit crowded and would benefit from some more mainstream shops like kmart etc. The cafes are pretty good though but a bulit overcrowded at certain times of the day.
Kenmore shopping village is a good small centre with most things you need including Post Office, chemist, newsagent and supermarket. The Library is upstairs
Great atmosphere with a number of cafe's and restaurants with friendly and helpful service.
Excellent shopping facilities. Gifts, dresses, computer accessories, Mitre 10, news agency, Coles, post office, butcher, green grocer. All very important and easy to access. Recommend you visit this shopping centre.
For a small local shopping place is rather good to have. You can get everything you need, there are a chemist, a butcher, a post office, a fresh seafood, a bakery, a hair salon, a tavern, Coles & Aldi, a green grocer, two bottle shops, a Shusi bar, cafe/restaurants except there is no Woolworth except down the road to Kenmore Village, but the car parking is rather chaos at time, so careful in that aspect.
Went to a lovely nail salon there to have some acrylic nails taken off. Staff were obliging and not expensive. Bought a Powerball entry at Newsagent and a flower at Woolworths. Enjoyed the experience.
Other than your core peak times there's always ground level parking easy to find. And bank ATMs outside so you don't need to go inside.
The Village has a eclectic mix of shops including a bizarrely large number of women’s dress shops for such a small centre. My preferred location for Coles and Mitre10 (where they really remember what service is). Great eateries as well.
Only down side is the car park which at most times is ok, but can become gridlock city. So many pedestrian crossings and terrible intersections can bring the place to a standstill. And it’s location on the Kenmore roundabout is a recipe for disaster.
Regardless, I prefer it to Kenmore Plaza.
The worst parking. For the love of shopping sort out the parking. Were it not for this I would give more stars for this little shopping centre. Has lots of everyday things one needs. The bakery near coles does a good pie and Amcal stocks some teas and household products that can be hard to find.
A smallish and very calm shopping centre with an excellent range of outlets including two banks, a post office and hardware store
Not overwhelmingly big which is a nice change to the monstrosities of Westfield Shopping centres and makes for a much more enjoyable shopping experience.
Nice shopping centre. But need to be careful of cleaning staffs (especilly the one who does carpark blowing on Tuesdays). He is bit arrogant and will blow all dust on your car if your car is in his area of work. And if you ask him why he does so then he may even ask you to not park your car when he is blowing the car park. It sounded so unprofessional of him, as I know a car park can be cleaned even if there are cars parked in the area. That cleaner certainly needs some good training.
Popular suburban shopping centre, coffee shops, banks.post office.public library (limited access due Covid 19 rules). Doctors, Physio.
Coles, hairdressing salons, Chemist.
News agency, Optometrist, Bakery, Fish and chip shop, Florist. Jeweller, Key and shoe repairs, a florist.
A quaint little shopping centre populated by cafes, boutique stores, and healthcare services, with Coles and AusPost the biggest destination stores for the centre.
The centre is always well maintained and the boomerang bags scheme allowing people a back up if they forget reusable bags is a wonderful initiative.
The centre however does feel quite dark at times with little natural light. The addition of a department store would really lift the centre in terms of usefulness, and remove the need to head to Westfield Indooroopilly or Mt Omney for department store purchases.
It has most of the everyday shops you need, plus the Mitre10 is great for emergency hardware supplies. There are a few fashion/jewellery shops. The u-shaped layout is a bit inconvenient if you need to get from one side to the other quickly, and parking can be pretty tight at peak times. The public library is also a nice space to take the kids. For everyday shopping I prefer Kenmore plaza, as it has a better layout and two supermarkets (ALDI and Woolies), plus some more interesting food options.
A couple of nice stores and some useful ones (library, post office, hardware). Could do with a few more interesting stores. Parking is okay, it can be hard to get out.
Not too crowded, home to the Library and has some nice shops around. Nice place to go if you can't go to Indro.
