Just cracked our Kawungan Quality Meats Christmas ham…. Amazing! Well done guys, best ham in Queensland

I always love this butcher & often buy there jalepeno pies, pork ribs, lamb etc. Today I went to order my xmas ham & got some of my faves whilst there. They had Tandoori thigh cutlets (I've never had chicken cutlets). Eating them now for dinner & they're Soooo good I had to stop & write this.

We have been overseas for 4 weeks and our first stop back in Hervey Bay was Kawungan Quality Meats! We have been craving a Black Angus rib eye steak since we left. We also picked up a couple of the delicious handmade chicken kievs which are the best we have had. As usual the service was fabulous and it was great to see some familiar happy faces. Big thankyou to the crew for their consistent high quality meats and service!

Dry aged bone in rib fillet is to die for. Awesome quality meats. The Jalapeno and cheese sausages are 13/10 and the ham is out of this world tasty.

Just left the Kawungan Quality Meats shop. It's not often I visit the shops as my wife does most of that but I really felt the need to express the excellent service I just received from the owner Dale. I went in to purchase a rub for a beef brisket we will be slow cooking on the weekend on the Oz Pig. Dale could not have been anymore helpful and I can see now why my wife continues to shop there. Also worth mentioning that Jake is the fella who seems to help the wife out on most visits to KQM's and she consistently suggests he provides the same level of service. Well done to the team at Kawungan Quality Meats - Great service and even better quality meat.

Was recommended here by a local friend. Great steak - led to a fantastic birthday dinner. However, had also requested some chuck steak to make a curry. Whatever diced beef I was provided was super lean, and led to the most depressing curry I've made in a long time. Shame.

Great staff and beautiful meat, very well presented. We have only been in town a short while but we'll be sticking with this butcher.

Please don't tell anyone how good your TBone steaks are I had mine tonight purchased this week whole Tbone slised free and bagged seperate just a little thicker than the counter display and WOW Fantastic but don't tell anyone until I buy my next one awesome with a glass of red

The meat at Kawungan Quality Meats is the best you find in Hervey Bay, the meat cuts are lean and tender when you cook. The variety of different cut of meat you find are awesome and prepared meat dishes are so tasty, you have true try them.
I also work shift work and between shift I try to have one of their pre prepared home cooked meals. They are just like my grandmother used to cook, I don't know how they do it but even when you heat them in the microwave they come out moist and hot all through unlike others that become dry and half is still cold and the other half is like lava.even the pork crackle in the pre prepared meat meals is crunchy.
My favorite by far are the parcels, great selection, easy to cook and melt in your mouth. And now the have the best worcestershire saurce in the world.look out. Do yoursleves a favour go in and get some parcels and the worcestershire saurce and try them together.you will be back again and again and again.
