No staff bothered to see if we needed help. The front window had sale signs but couldn't find any sales items.

Found some good bargains 40% off most products, friendly and knowledgeable staff, picked up two large backpacks for almost half the price, also checked other similar outlets

No customer service here. Self serve shop, they don't care if you need help, no greetings.staffs chatting away unpacking their merchandise and didn't bother to help me.stand in the line to buy, waiting at the counter to buy, one staff is serving, not bothered about me waiting, didn't call the other staff to serve me.just standing there like I don't exist. Few moments later I got noticed and asked to come to the other counter to pay, again no apologies, just did the checkout.definitely not a good reflection of the brand, don't even deserve one star rating

Great service by Chloe. Explained what I required and she went beyond to find the size jacket I was after.

5 stars for Mel and 5 stars for third woman who helped me but unfortunately 1 star for second woman (possibly manager)
So, entered store right on opening to buy some shorts. Immediately was greeted by happy store staff (Mel) and I proceeded to tell her what I was after.
They didn't have alot of stock in in my style/size but Mel went on the hunt and found some at other store, whilst she was at it I asked her about a puffer jacket that I have been after for ages and she managed to Hunt down this as well, even ordering in two different sizes for me to try on before purchasing.
At counter with good conversation going on when noticed another woman (possibly manager (hanging around watching/listening) she didn't seem happy that Mel was doing a fantastic job in helping me out, me on other hand really appreciated it.
When leaving tried to tell other woman (possibly manager) how fantastic Mel's service was and got 5 stars from me, but she didn't seem interested at all in what I was saying and I felt like I was an inconvenience talking to her.
Really really really disappointing when customer praises staff and your not interested. 1 star for you!
Had phone call following day saying my ordered goods had turned up (within 24hrs.great) so went into store and was helped by another 5 star woman (Joanna maybe) tried my jacket, paid, got my shorts.happy customer.
Again Mel and Joanna? 5 stars

Staff is quite nice. I have went to afew Kathmandu's in the past as to get supplies for adventures and the place has never seemed to not have what I required for it and never seemed not to have the best quality gear. So if your needing quality gear for an adventure or just want to try out hiking then you should definitely get your gear from here!

Browsing trying to decide on purchase. Greeted by a friendly young male shop assistant and asked if wanted help. Told him just browsing and thank you. 2 minutes later asked by middle aged female employee if needed help, told her just browsing and thank you. She hovered around listening into our conversation and starting offering advice. Told her just browsing and thank you. She continued her aggressive sales stance and interjecting into our conversation. We left and went to anaconda instead where where our purchase was made. Never again kathmandu, this employee lost you all our future business. Retraining her would be a monumentous task but choose your challenge kathmandu, do you accept?

Good quality clothing, they just didn't have the colour I was after. Tried them on for size and ordered online.

Hmmmmm. Not what they were once. We went in to get cold Weather pants for the wife or a blanket for the cold. Nothing in stock apart from tracksuit pants that were fleecy. If you want something with the Kathmandu name on it then go for it. If you want cold weather gear apparently you have to go else where. They don't even sell merino wool thermals anymore.

I was browsing at this store for an hour with an expensive jacket in my hand that I wanted to buy. For that whole hour I wasn’t greeted or helped and the staff members were watching me closely as if I was going to steal this jacket. They only became friendly when I went to the register to pay. Very horrible feeling as i shop here often. Unfortunately the service isn’t usually here nor there, which I don’t mind, but I certainly don’t want to be treated like I’m stealing.

My partner and I went today and I can’t pass the opportunity to say that MEL was amazing! Lovely and SUPER helpful! She couldn’t have been any sweeter or resourceful.
Defently going back!

I recently saw an "out of stock" item on the Kathmandu website, went to the store today and the ladies went out of their way to source the item for me. Very friendly and super helpful. " I'll be back "!

I first phoned in for assistance for a possible exchange then went in. The manager and assistant both so helpful. Provided me with advice and replacement and extra store incentives. Super helpful. Thank you ladies.

Staff were incredible helpful. I had to return the sleeping bag I bought as it was just slightly too small. The staff were incredible helpful in this situation and very friendly. I noticed that other customers were also very happy with the service as staff took the time to educate them. Thankyou for a really great experience

Was good. Disappointing return policy. Couldn't take it home and if I realise the clothing didn't suit I couldn't return it. Concerning when I want to buy multiple of two lines (uniforms).

Walked into the store today, was warmly greeted from afar i.e. From the back of the store and I was at the front of the store. I walked in with the intention of buying but no such luck. I was in the store for approx. 10 minutes looking at various options of the same item. The two ladies in store proceeded to rearrange stock on the floor and talk to one another. Guess Kathmadu North Lakes don't need the business since reopening. While I was in store I witnessed other customers being greeted the same way and 30 minutes later when I walked past more customer in store but ladies were still doing nothing expect for talking to each other.
