Kathmandu Mount Gravatt reviews
17I went into Kathmandu to get a raincoat, and Marc was amazingly helpful and patient! I can’t recommend him (and the store in general) enough
Great customer service by Kirsty and Meg last night, it was very busy in store but they bounced to each customer with an up beat approach. The Visual merchandising of the store is bright and eye catching. Very happy customer.
Real cold weather gear to keep you warm.
Great staff.
Easy to find what your looking for.
Excellent customer service from Ravi and marnee! Both helped clarify many questions.
Thanks
Arrived just to have a look at what they had in store for my next hiking and camping trip.
SERVICE
Staff were preoccupied doing their packing and folding. I walked about the store for some time before I was asked if I needed help from a young male staff member.
PRICE
Overall, everything is very expansive for what you are paying for. Canada & the US have sub-zero clothing, sleeping and other items for warmth which are better quality and cheaper. Why is that?
OVERALL
Wouldn't shop there again.
Prefer to shop online instead.
Excellent service, great range of products with staff willing to go the extra mile searching other store for sizes not in stock in their store
Marnee from the Garden City store was AMAZING & answered every one of my questions. Fast & fantastic service, & even helped to show me how to put my pack on. If you're clueless like me but keen on outdoor adventure check out these days at the GC location they'll be sure to help you out
Thankyou so much guys really made my day
Best quality clothing. What ruined my experience was the salesperson à des years ago.
Was looking for clothes and told the salesperson I don't want anything with animal products. He then went on trying to convince me (angrily) about how shaving sheep helps them. Even though this is true I still didn't want wool and he kept trying to debate me.
Great store for quality adventure wear. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sale prices similar to at DFO- so you really don't have to travel to the airport dfo or harbour town for a good price for Kathmandu products. But unless you are desperate, wait for the sales as they do come around!

Would have been 5 stars if the guy that served as hadn't been so blunt, all most to the point of being rude. Both girls that helped us were AWESOME.
Good service, friendly staff but didn't have my size shoe so they found it at a store closer to me.
The staff here are rude and unhelpful. We attempted to purchase a jacket here today and the man working offered little assistance - pointing us in the general direction of jackets. When we found one and tried to purchase it we ran into more issues. Apparently using a gift voucher is frowned upon here. We had one ($100) which was set to expire on Xmas eve, but were set to recieve another $500 worth for Xmas for an upcoming trip. We wanted to put 100 on the jacket so it didn't go to waste, then purchase the remainder along with other items after Xmas. The staff member (very dismissively) said that was not possible. We asked what we could do and he shrugged and told us to call customer service. We asked if he could check whether the voucher would expire (because the newer ones don't) and he said no. We again explained our dilemma and he was again rude and dismissive. Without a solution we handed the jacket back and left. There is not much under $100 at the store (and we have now instructed our family to spend the $500 elsewhere rather than on more Kathmandu gift cards) so we basically have a useless $100 card that expires (?) in a few days. What a waste of time and money.
Nice products abit pricey for the normal jo blo, best keep an eye out for sales to get a quality product at a good price
Visited this store to buy hiking gear. The staff are super knowledgeable about a range of issues, they where able to provide great advice and assistance to fully kit me out. Was impressed about their depths of knowledge on the products they where selling
Had a really good experience in store today - huge shout out to Tim who went above and beyond for us:)
I went to Kathmandu Garden City, looking for Retreat tent poles and there was not much stock around. The first person that I talked to was not impressive. He said that he would try to order and gave me update, but I didn't get any news. Then I came back there and talked to Steve, he was very helpful. After waiting for another week from the headquarter office without result, he apologised and he checked and called other stores to check their stock. Finally I got it. Well done! Many thanks Steve!
