Kathmandu Chermside

I was served by Danielle, went in looking for pair of hiking boots for longer hikes to replace my mongrel work boots that I've been using for last couple of years. She could not have been more helpful, she was so knowledgeable. I was keen to try Oboz, and ended up with the Bridger Mid B Dry. I've just completed first hike in them over 13km AMAZING! So comfortable no issues at all. Thanks to Danielle.

Went in to have a look at some hiking shoes for my sister and I for our trip to Tasmania. The manager Benjamin served us and I’m glad he did because he was incredibly knowledgeable in finding shoes that fit the needs of my sister and I. We didn’t end up grabbing anything today but we’ll definitely be coming back to Kathmandu when we need to. Really appreciate the time Benjamin spent with us.

Andre was wondeful and put the wheels on my luggage case. And now it looks like brand new.

Best retail service I've had in ages, everything you need in a Kathmandu store, and I've caught all their sales recently.

Sales representative loed to try to make a sale. Claimed Merell boots only come in sizes from 8.5 & 9.5 and so on, and nothing between. Further claimed that you couldn't possibly get size 9 shoes. A quick Google search gives a different result. Wouldn't trust a sales representative providing false info just to make a sale is shonky

The staff there are so helpful and knowledgeable. In particular, Abigail who served me, went above and beyond to make sure that I purchased the things I needed for my trip to Italy. She was most delightful and made my visit to the store a memorable one:).

We went shopping to buy a winter jacket for our son who is going overseas soon, and we were served by the best shop assistant ever, Abi
Abi was patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help our son find what he was looking for. Nothing was too much trouble for her. It's people like Abi who make you want to go back to a shop time and time again - she definitely deserves 'Employee of the Week'. Looking forward to being served by her the next time we visit Katmandu. Thankyou Abi!

Pleasently surprised by quality of stock and service at store. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Nicely set up with great offers as well.

Fabulous store. I'm a big fan of Kathmandu as think the quality is first class. I was in here 2 days in a row as the special rack in rear of shop had me interested. The manageress was on phone for quite awhile and I had to wait to ask some questions. Next day I went in and same again! Luckily though there was another employee who helped me out straight away. Some really good change of season deals! Whilst trying to find if another shop had what I was after, I discovered that they have a DFO at Jindalee. I will be out there as soon as I can! Apparently they have stock styles from couple of years ago as well as recent and some good deals. Finally got what I wanted and is being bought into this shop from another shop soon. They were really helpful and Andre was friendly and funny. I always have trouble walking past Kathmandu without going in for a look. Good shop.

Great service by Alex at Chermide he is very knowledgeable helpful and efficient.hard to find this type of service. The store is huge organised and well stocked. Do recommend to go there and speak to Alex.

My experience with the service of Andrew Siereveld at Kathmandu in Chermside was second to none.
I was after shoe laces for my Salomon shoes which I couldn't get anywhere.
I asked Andre if he could help me out and within half an hour, Andre found me a pair.
I am pleased with his service and will not hesitate to visit Kathmandu in Chermside again.

I had to return something I had bought online. Danielle made this the easiest transaction ever. Best shopping experience in a long time. Highly recommend online service and in-store services.

Felt pressured to buy by the manager (?). She was friendly at the start but when I hinted the clothes might not be suitable, things got unpleasant. I'll avoid that store now.

Went in with all intentions of buying Solomon's. They didn't feel right so Caitlin got me to try Oboz. Never heard of them but from the time I got them on, a perfect fit. Wasn't pushy let me try one of each boot on at the same time both left and right to make certain. A great experience.
