My friend and I went there for a private lesson and it was really good. We hired Chris for a private lesson because it was cheap and because we only wanted a girls' class. He is very professional and made us feel comfortable and welcome.

Excellent BJJ academy, run by an Australian Army veteran with impressive credentials and proven experience. I'm a combat vet from a foreign military, and I was curious to see what sort of self defense training was offered near me in the Northern Beaches, and what Aussie vets had to show for themselves. I was not disappointed. Chris is a professional who consistently demonstrates rigorous attention to detail and will train you with all his energy in effective and practical techniques, at any level. I was impressed by Chris's ability to balance intense training with genuine concern for his students and regard for safety. The training manages to be kinetic and demanding without crossing the line into chaotic or dangerous. Highly recommended.

Whent in yesterday for my first jiu-jitsu session and loved it, Chris was easy to follow and good to talk to. Definitely a comfortable place to train, the gym is huge and very tiday I'll be back for sure
