Both of my childen were taught through Judy Watts Swim School from a very early age. Whilst I loved my children learning how to swim, what i valued the most was the respect for water that they had, and still have to this to day. Teaching them to sit and wait for their lesson was incredibly valuable, they learnt to watch, wait and respect the water. Teaching a child to swim and behave safely in and around the water is a lesson they will take with them for the rest of their life. Have tried others, highly recommend this school amd wouldn't look any further.

I have three children aged 2,3 and 5 who have attended this swim school since they were newborns. We love the education provided to my husband, myself and our children about water safety both in and out of the pool which promotes safe behaviour at swimming lessons, at home and at the beach for our family. I love that they have helped to set the foundation of understanding with my kids to ensure they know how to keep themselves safe around water. Staff have always been extremely friendly and supportive with helping when I have had to get the kids changed between back to back lessons. We could not recommend Judy Watts and her swim school team enough.

Thank you for all you have taught us, our kids look forward to lessons every week. It’s so wonderful as a parent to see how much you’ve helped them grow and progress with their swimming skills throughout the years, it would not have been achievable at home without you all.

We chose this one because they teach the children to sit and wait for their lesson from the very beginning as babies. There is lots of information and ideas for parents to keep their children safe around water as well teaching the children to swim. They have books for you to read to the kids and help you when you are struggling (especially after having a newborn & a very active toddler). One of the staff will come and sit with your toddler if you need help, I have seen them holding newborns while parents are trying to get them dressed or if they get upset while doing a lesson with the toddlers. The teachers are firm, and it might not suit everyone, but they are also incredibly kind and patient both in and out of the water. We have certainly seen & learnt skills that we believe will keep our children safe in and out of the water.

We love this swim school! Judy taught me to swim almost 30 years ago & now I’ve returned with my son. Judy & Dave are so knowledgeable & take the time with the kids to build a relationship. Highly recommend!

Judy yells at parents with toddlers in the waiting area if they can’t keep their child seated for the full half hour so I do not recommend this swim school, especially if you have multiple children in your care. It can be quite an unpleasant experience being publicly chastised because your toddler is tired and refusing to sit.

Amazing swim school. Very understanding teachers who genuinely love what they do. Being a small family business it is so beneficial for the children to see the same familiar faces consistently. Those kids who are slow to warm up find their confidence quite quickly here as the teachers are so understanding and never push children before they're ready. Highly highly recommend it here!
