Jo Mercer Queen Street Mall reviews
14 Bad Experience, I happened to buy a pr of flats from Adelaide and I wanted to change it for a black, in Gold Coast, took it back, I changed my mind and wanted my same shoes back, Jo Mercer said I have to pay a higher price to get it back, what policy is this.
Jo Mercer should do better, not happy I just wanted my pr of shoes which I brought, work on your return policy pl
Customer care could not do anything, really Bad
Lovely and helpful staff! Went above and beyond to help me secure a new set of shoes for my birthday.
Shopping for my partner.
She loves the brand, the quality and the fit of these shoes.
Staff are always helpful.
Not a great experience at all. I had ordered a click and collect from the City store, for the convenience of this option. When I arrived they could not find my order in the system. They asked if I had recieved an email confirmation that they were ready to collect I said no but It said they were in store. After 40 mins of waiting whilst the assistant called several managers and after I had provided email confirmation, money out of my bank and afterpay confirmation she said I still couldn't take the shoes unless I paid for them AGAIN. Another $400 to take the shoes and Head Office would then have to call me to refund me on Monday. On Monday I never received a call from anyone to apologies just the refund email. NOT GOOD ENOUGH for Jo Mercer and the price you charge for shoes.
Was served by Demi today and she was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and she made a product recommendation that I loved. Great at her job without being pushy at all. Wonderful service:)
Some of the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. The sales assistant was incredibly rude to me when I was just wanting to try on a pair of shoes. She spoke to me very condescendingly when I told her I was a sales assistant at a different store. I returned the pair I bought the next day because I was still so disappointed with the service I received. Even worse to know that this is the flagship store and should give the best experience, but by far the worst Jo Mercer store I've ever been to. I do not recommend.
Poor customer service. Never had issue before. But today received worst attitude from the lady who i think Latino. She didnt want to serve me i think hahaha never going back there
I loved Jo Mercer shoes and boots.
Sadly they did not love me back.
Three very lightly worn pairs of boots (they all still look like new) all developed the same issue where the toe cap, rather than being covered by the lining, is on the outside, against your foot, allowing the edge of the cap to roll down, creating a very uncomfortable ridge right on the instep.
When I realised I only had the issue with Jo Mercer boots, I contacted customer service. What a waste of time.what the cobbler called a manufacturing fault was simply ‘normal wear and tear’ according to them.
So apparently Jo Mercer think it is OK that their boots fail after 10-20 wears.
I will take my boot love to Franky4 from now on. Their boots are comfortable, stylish AND built to last.
Really loved my experience with sales assistant June, who was very helpful and had a positive attitude!
A great shoe shop with a wide range of reasonably priced casual and dress shoes to suit most tastes. If you're looking for a set of spanners there are none here and there is only a very slight chance that they could sell you a tuba even if you call them in advance.
Great customer service and shoes! They provide some good and helpful comments regarding what you are after! June and Tracy are extremely intelligent with their approach and products! Definitely buying there again!
Did not even get 2 steps in the door when the rude sales assistant yelled at me from across the store to pull my mask up correctly.had she given me a moment to adjust it over my nose I would of proceeded to buy the 2 pairs of shoes I was after. I immediately left the store as she bellowed again thank you. I decided to purchase shoes from another brand.very bad customer service!
The sales assistant named June at the Queen Street branch is a rude and arrogant person. I visited the store last week and the way she interacts with both customers and staff members is shocking. What a shame. I do love the range of shoes. Jo Mercer used to be my favorite shoe brand. I just cannot believe they are employing someone with such a bad presentation and poor customer service. She doesn't represent the brand at all, she should work at the convenience store down the road! I will never shop there again!
Really poor quality and service.
Bought a pair of slides in a promotion. After two wears they ripped where the strap meets the base. I took them back and they would only offer to have a cobbler look at them. The store clerk said she would call me the next day - no call. I called them a week later and she said that the shoes were deemed not faulty as I must have stepped off a gutter and ripped them - I didnt. I replied saying that I never fell in them or slipped off a gutter, I only wore them a handful of times on days off of work. The leather was really thin and ripped so easily.
The clerk offered to have them repaired by their cobbler or I can take them to my own cobbler. I figured that they were already there and she said the repair would cost $20 so I agreed.
A few days later I get a call saying that I have to take them to the cobbler. I go in store, pick them up, take them to their cobbler and he quotes me $50 to have them repaired, not $20.
$50 is half the purchase price! So I now have to pay 150 for slides that I wore only a handful of times that are clearly poor quality.
I will never shop here again. I am so disheartened. The store clerk was really short with me.
I've worked in retail too and I know its annoying when customers complain about the quality of a product when there isnt anything you can do but I always showed empathy and kindness when handling situations that were unfortunately out of my control. It doesn't help to ever be rude and short with someone.
