Great service by the volunteers, incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and its history and really made our day out!

Went for first overnight hike and loved it. Shout out to David for great info and genuine concern about my safety. As it was I did get a bit too enthusiastic on the walking trails and at one point was lost. But I persevered and found my way back to camp on dark and David happened to see me on my way and offered to drive me back to camp, forever greatful, thank you David

Amazingly friendly and helpful owner. Dave went out of his way to share the fascinating history, outline local activities and provided maps etc.with genuine warmth and hospitality.

I am currently a resident of Jimna & for the past 9 years i have lived in Jimna 3 times because I love it so much, i was devastated when we had to move to Kilcoy because there wasn't another house for rent in Jimna at the time. But even living in kilcoy we would make the drive up the mountain atleast once a week just to drop in to the Jimna Tourist Information Center just to say helloto Dave & Barb. Me & my kids always stop in to the Jimna Tourist Information Center almost on a daily basis just to have a chat & sit down & have something to eat. The service is impeccable & both dave & barb are so kind, caring & are always prepared to help uou out with anything & everything's if they can. I couldn't speak any higher about the business and the people that run it, my kids don't trust many people but they trust these people & love hearing stories Dave can tell about what Jimna used to be like. If your ever up this way, drop in & check it out you won't be disappointed I promise you that. I rate this place a 10 out of 10

Dropped by to grab a drink and ended up having an ice block and a long chat about the Jimna Fire Tower (and efforts taken to preserve and restore it). Highly recommend the info centre if you're in Jimna, plenty of good maps plus local knowledge on what's been graded or what's barely navigable.
