Traveling through Brisbane and being social ballroom dancers not rock n rollers this wasn't the place we were looking for but still enjoyed our night entirely due to the enthusiasm, welcome and cheerfulness of the couple operating it. Thank you.

Tremendous and easily 5 stars. From the friendliness and professionalism from the event hosts and staff, to the acceptance and help from regulars. Easily a place to feel welcomed and the facilities are excellent.

For me it was the hardest thing to do as a single Male walking into a dance studio. From the day I made the decision to learn to dance I could not be happier that I chose Jill's Jive. Jill and Trevor are the very best teachers with a great sense of humour. Learning Rock n Roll to social ballroom, fantastic. Always laughing and enjoy dancing with my new friends. I did not think I would like dancing this much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Going to Jills Jive is a fantastic place to dance your cares away with friendly people, get a little exercise and make New friends. Jill and Trevor work very hard to make their dance club a pleasure to go to, regardless of whether you are an absolute beginner or experienced.

I highly recommend this venue as you can stay after the lesson and practice until 1030 pm.
Jill's Jive is the only place I felt comfortable coming to as a woman alone because of its
friendly, safe and non-threatening environment. Any girls or guys out there reading this who are on there own come to Jill's Jive and join this wonderful family.

My wife and I started attending Rock 'n Roll classes at Jill's Jive in late 2018 upon a friends' recommendation. The classes are very well designed for beginners - relaxed and supportive with excellent instruction from Jill, her husband, Trevor, and the other instructors. One of the many great things with the instruction besides the fact that different moves are taught each week is that Jill and Trevor spend a lot of time instructing the men how to lead and the women how to follow (yes, that's the way dancing works), which my wife and I had never been properly taught before. Add to this the warm, friendly atmosphere, the availability of quality food and beverages, and the opportunity to dance well into the night after the lesson part of the evening is over (all on the single low entry fee for the lesson), and you have the recipe for a great night out. We always look forward to our Sunday evenings at Jill's!

Jill and Trevor are great teachers of rock and roll dancing. Very good for beginners. After the lesson there is plenty of time to practise and dance many other dance styles. People are friendly and dance for the love of dance.

This place has been my home for the past 12 years and I cannot say enough great things about the dancing and the people. It's fun and inviting and the only place to be on a Sunday.or a Wednesday.or a Thursday.just any day they are open really! Love JJ's and love love love Jill & Tevor!

I have been going to Jill's Jive for a number of years and find it the most amazing place. Jill and Trevor make everyone welcome. Outstanding teachers, with the most wonderful people attending this one-of place. Staff are really helpful, food is really good especially for the price. If you want a memorable night of dance, this is the place to be.

You couldn't ask for a better place to dance. From the first time we walked into Jills Jive we have been thoroughly impressed with all facets. The welcome that you receive from staff is that of warmth and acceptance and this overflows to each dance class. The classes are fun, funny and very easy to follow with knowledgeable instructors on a purpose built dance floor. Attention to detail with cleanliness and service at Jills Jive is always at its highest. Well maintained rest rooms, comfortable furniture, delicious food and coffee and a well stocked bar just make your experience here even more pleasurable. Do yourself a favour and try a class here. Brisbane is very lucky to have such a wonderful dance studio. Where else can you go to learn to dance and meet new friends in such a friendly, professionally run venue? If you are thinking of learning to dance, don't hesitate to come along. You will find everyone very supportive. Especially Jill and Trevor.

Jill and Trevor are a friendly couple who have a wealth of knowledge in all types of dance whether it is waltz, rock and roll, tango, cha-cha etc. You are made to feel welcome whether it is your first class or your 100th. They have a variety of classes where you can learn whatever takes your fancy. The dance floor is a good size, a nice variety of food and drinks are available at very reasonable prices and there is a wide variety of music played.

Jill’s Jive is a unique dance studio in Brisbane and a great venue to learn Rock & Roll and make new friends. It is an adult dance studio and has a licensed cafe and bar and owners Jill and Trevor teach in a professional and friendly manner. (there is also a dance and play studio for young children at this venue but this is during the daytime). I have been to JJs many times now and am so thankful I took those first steps through the door.

Awesome place to take kids! Has cafe for adults and play equipment inclucing dance floor for the kids.
