72Wanted to purchase DC Ceiling fan from JD Lighting and Fans given the fantastic service and highest quality lighting I obtained refitting my newly bought apartment. This time contracted them by phone as I had questions. Now, as in past, I received best possible customer service. Super friendly’ professional and informative and on top of that recommended a sale item that saved me $50. Always my supplier of choice and give them my highest recommendation.
Horrible the lady would not leave us alone and kept trying to force products never going back
The service was second to none, the lovely lady who served us was amazing. Even when the computer said no she still went through the stock and remarkably found exactly what I was after. Legend
Called to get these discounted lights. The man on the phone was very helpful and said he will call back when they find them. Sure enough they did shortly after and I came to collect.
Lovely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very happy with my purchase which was recommended by the staff. I only wanted specific type light bulbs, but was helped, and they are perfect.
Had researched online the product I wanted.
It could have been posted/couriered but had to go to Brisbane for wife’s appointment so decided to travel into the store as it filled in some time. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Got the product I wanted.
Avoid at all costs, their staff tell you different things and then they don't honor what they say.
They blame the customer if there is an error and are not willing to help.
Appreciate your response and yes you did offer a refund but only after my wife hung up on your team member as you have left out the part where your team member said that it wasn't their fault that the size was wrong, and you also failed to address that one staff member said full refund last week and now it was store credit this week.
Yes we said it was only $30 and not to worry today because your team member said on 3 occasions store credit was the only option and the way she spoke down to my wife.
If your team member had been as polite and helpful as the you the store owner then it would have been an entirely different situation.
Was told by one store person that if the size of the light shade was incorrect that it could be returned, then when I went to return it I get told I can only get store credit.
When I said I have no need for store credit they basically said that it was my fault for buying the wrong one.
No customer service and rude staff that were only worried about making the sale.
Shop elsewhere if you have the choice.
Michelle was really helpful and she had excellent customer service. We have been looking for lights for ages and this was such a wonderful experience to see JD’s choice and to be served by the delightful Michelle.
Have been to the Browns Plains store a couple of times, the staff are great, very friendly and heplful. We have bought lights and fans and both are good quality and were reasonably priced:)

We had the best experience at JD lighting with Lauren.
She is friendly, professional, knows her product and is just an all round superstar.
We were not sure exactly what lighting would suit our Queenslander and Lauren was there with some great advice. We ended up purchasing a heritage style light fitting and three wood look ceiling fans that are a perfect fit for our home. Your product range is great and the service we received from all your staff was excellent.

I have been shopping there for a number of years and the staff are very friendly and the service is second to none.
Ordered two months ago and nothing delivered as yet. Asked for a refund and they stopped replying to emails. Avoid.
Great experience shopping for fand and lights with JD! The staff (Jack himself) was very helpful in showing options and help us understand what we really needed. Such help is very rare these days in the shops, with the ins and outs of the products and genuine interest in helping customers get what they really need and technical guidance!

I am Disappointed. I ordered some pendant lights 2 and a half weeks later no communication. No apologise from staff. We cancelled order.
Today I visited the Browns plains store and was served by Lily.
I had the most pleasant experience, Initially visited the store to purchase 3 sensor lights which are far better then the Bunnings lights.
After Lily helped me with that I thought of some other lights I could look at while I was there. I was shown around and Lily helped me with my daughter who was beginning to get tired. Lily set up some drawing for her and kept her entertained. Walked out with a box full of stuff, I wish more staff paid this kind of attention was able to up sell without being pushy and gave me some great ideas. Lily is a Great sales person who knows her products. I’ll definitely be shopping there for anything lighting/electrical/security in the future

WORST SELLER EVER.they sell items that they dont have. They wont tell you till you chase them up 4 weeks later that the item is not available for yet 16 weeks, yes they waste 4 weeks of your time only to tell you it will be another 16 weeks before they have the item that they took your money for. TERRIBLE SERVICE!
My partner and I ordered and paid for a vanity light from the Browns Plains store in early January. Was told they had one in stock but could not locate it. Advised we would receive a call to collect it once found. A week passed and heard nothing so called to see what was happening. Was told they cannot locate so will order another light in from supplier. Was told it could take 2-3 weeks but will receive a call once it’s arrived. Heard nothing after 4 weeks so called again and spoke to the manager. She was very polite and apologetic however explained the light is discontinued and no longer available.
The staff member who took our original order and money could have advised us of this and avoided this entire issue.
My recommendation is if you’d like to be mucked around for weeks on end, kept in the dark and treated with zero customer service, definitely shop with these guys.
