JB Hi-Fi Cairns Central

Great well priced, well stocked, very helpful and always happy to make changes. Good place to shop.

Went into buy some gaming headphones for an xbox series x and ps5, waited over half an hour but staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves to even bother helping me.

I can't just take the products to the counter as they're all locked via security magnets. This happens every time I shop at the cairns central store where as stockland are normally helpful.

Instore no problems - Helpful and friendly. Make sure you give the wharehouse at least 30 minutes to retrieve the stock.

You 2 were absolute legends, no arguing, knew what they were talking about, and what I was talking about.regarding the 14 days period, where if you buy something, and it goes on sale, they refund you the difference (only if you bought it within 14days of the Special sale).

Walked out cause the guy selling phones had no clue what he was doing and didn't really care. Waited 20 minutes for a guy to tell us how much he didn't know.

I got a good service when I had to replace a malfunctioning charging cable. I was helped correctly and in a nice way. I didn't mind that I had to wait quite a while.
Be careful for going there for advice about their goods though. Not every employee has the expertise needed for all the products.
Overall a very good store and the staff will help you to the best of their abilities.

Although JB Hi Fi has everything you could need for the home when it comes to electronics and sound systems, l don't go there very often. I personally think the outlay of the store is too busy, and not easy to move around in. Nonetheless the staff are very polite and helpful.

Bit hard to find of your not a local, tucked away at the top of the food Court. Always well stocked, friendly helpful, knowledgeable staff, great prices and quality stock. Always our first stop for electronics etc.

Purchased a home security system and served by Jon. He was a wealth of knowledge and was happy to help during his lunch hour with some questions we had even after the purchase

Great service when you are instore but don't try to call. Rang out 5 times then I finally got answered and I was on hold for over 15 minutes before I hung up and gave up.

I was looking for a 3.5mm audio to USB-C adapter cable I saw online and in stock. When I got there, I had a look where other USB adapter cables were displayed, thinking logically this it where it should be but couldn't find anything. I approached a staff member who did directed me to where I had just come from. She did not seem sure so asked a young bloke working in the mobile phone area. He seemed annoyed we were disturbing him from his mobile phone area manning duties. He pointed back to where we had both come from and said something along the lines of 'it should be over there if it's not over there we don't have any. '

Dissatisfied with old mate's response, I went to another area and asked another staff member. He zipped away and was back with the item I was wanting in under 15seconds. Turns out they were on a hook below the mobile phone display old mate was leaning on. It was close enough to bite him on the doodle if it had teeth.

Friendly staff and knowledgeable staff. Very impressed with Jacqe; great service and very knowledgeable!

Just bought an Apple 13 iPhone here for the best price in Cairns and got help from a big dude wearing the coolest Hawaiian shirt from Lowe’s, like mine, who also likes Magic Mushies!

Australia has one, if not the worst, of the worst customer services in the world. Went to buy a S21 ultra (2k phone) and they are not even trying to sell, not giving any information, not answering the normal questions, etc.it was not even busy and it took them over an hour to sell it to me. Then I had to come back because they charged me extra, had the receipt but they asked me to bring the phone back also (another item was charged extra) so an extra hour to get my refund.
Now a week later the phone has had some issues and their refund policy isnt really good either so basically im NEVER buying here anymore, terrible experience worst customer service.

I visited this store to see if they had any rare gems they had no sold and there was so much. Will be back again.

Sold me an extended warranty in August 2019 telling me it works internationally. It doesn't work internationally. Very annoying.

Very tempted to buy the TV now but I will have to wait till next month when I move in to my new home.

Wether it’s busy or not, there is always at least a 10min wait at the checkout. Other then that, it’s an ok store!
