I recently purchased a new phone and smart watch from JB HI-FI Toowoomba and was served by Finn. I found him to be very professional, certainly knows his job extremely well and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a sales rep with excellent customer service and who is always willing to give a great deal. He is a credit to JB HI-FI and I look forward to returning as a customer again soon.

This JB Hi-Fi is a medium to large store located in thr centre of Toowoomba so within walking distance of restaurants and many other stores. They stock almost anything you need.
Needed some knowledgeable info on mobile phones for an elderly person. The assistant who served me had zero interest in advising me what was available, his words 'this is what we have got' and pointed to one phone. Another poor example of customer service for anyone over the age of about 40. Would not have even given one star but couldn't post if I hadn't rated it
Some of your staff seem to think they are a bit too cool for school, when school was 20 years ago for them! Time to grow up!
Just bad experience in general from sales to customer service, which is unfortunately disappointing and slightly frustrating. I'd rather not buy from here but some things are just not offered by other places
I rang the store waited 20mins at least, no answer still.
So I went to store waited and waited to be served. Went to the counter and asked for some service, she called some one, waited and waited and waited still no one showed up to help. This is the second time I have been to this store and never received any service.
Will not be back again.
Went somewhere else and bought my item that I wanted.
Worst customer service
Our beloved television of 8 years was knocked off the cabinet and broke. We started the search for a new television and bought an LG 43UP80 from JB Hifi's website. On paper, the television was perfect for what we were looking for and for the price. In reality, after unboxing and testing it, it was a nightmare. No amount of settings changes could make the picture actually stand out on such a dark panel.
We took it back for a refund, and to reevaluate how much we were willing to spend right now on a television that ticks all our boxes. JB Hifi made the decision for us by not providing a refund as an option. I had read the refund policy online, and I had talked to a salesmen on the phone who had given the all clear for a refund but somewhere between that phone call and us arriving the decision had changed. All we were given was a different television for a higher price to replace it.
I went to other appliance stores and talked to them where I discovered they do provide refunds for something like a television that does not meet your expectations, or do what it is functioned for - to.watch.television. It had been a few years since I had made a purchase at JB Hifi, and this has reminded me why I had stopped going there.
Extortion at its best. Shop literally anywhere else if you are wanting a product but find it doesn't do what it promises or meet your needs.
Products are fine, but this store has probably THE worst customer service I have experienced for a huge retail line. They are working off their product base and treat customers as an inconvenience. Not all salespeople are like that, but I guarantee if you go in looking for something, or ask any question that makes them deviate from having quirky insider jokes with their fellow workmates, Ull be waiting a while.
Try an do a warranty claim, we’ll get ready for some ‘OMG I like don’t have time for this’ attitude. I’m sorry you sold me a product that was missing parts, it is a pain I agree. I actually would much prefer you sold me a product that had a full contents list also.
I don’t usually write reviews, but after buying thousands of dollars of equipment through them and having the same experience errrry time, just thought I should. So sick of JB customer service.
Last time I buy from them, just too painful.

JB-Hifi is the physical store experience I want when I don't want to browse online. I get to see the products. Often times even get to demo them which is amazing, and the atmosphere is fantastic. My go-to shop for tech products
JB Hi-Fi don't replace broken items in store like other retailers. They send your item back to the manufacture/distributor and you wait for however long the manufacture/distributor takes to repair or replace the item. I wouldn't want to buy a large item like a fridge or washing machine and risk being without it for weeks.
UPDATE - Two weeks later my Apple AirPods were returned repaired BUT the repairer had sent someone else's AirPods in my case (the electronic name and profile was still on the AirPods). To the store managers credit they did then agree to replace the Airpods.
The staff have been good.
In my opinion JB Hi-Fi are just pushing their consumer responsibilities back to suppliers: $$$ not customers.
Had a warranty issue with a product I purchased. Very happy with the exceptional product knowledge, professionalism and customer service delivered by Mitch. Nothing was too much trouble and he was polite, courteous and friendly. Issue was solved promptly to my satisfaction. Will be purchasing here again.
Worse customer service in town you almost have to beg to someone to service you. The website isn't accurate enough! They won't have to worry about me any more as I won't buy anything from them ever again!
Had no issues buying my Samsung Soundbar. However, all prices in store were much higher than listed online. I had to actually ask to have the price lowered and showed that online it was selling for $200 cheaper
Great place. Don't by shy about asking for help. You need to take the first step and ask. Then they are very helpful.
Good luck getting any after sales support from JB. Case number 230701 and not a single reply in over a month.
By far the most useless staff I've ever come across. Rude unhelpful and lost a massive sale due to this. Don't waste your time.
