Samsung phone 21FE under 12 months old battery exploded cracking the phone open and the entire phone stopped working losing all data. Absolutely cooked by anyones standards.
Immediate replacement you think. No!
The store refused a replacement or refund and sent it for repair.
Motherboard, phone backing and battery replaced making it a Major Defect under ACL.
Managers Ally and Damien refused the refund through another staff member and refused to even come to the phone because they dont even know the ACL and believe that JBs guidelines come before the law.
Don't by phones through JB and definitely not Kawana because the warranty doesn't mean a thing.
The Management here is appalling and don't even follow the JB Staff Code of Conduct or Warranty guidelines.
Check out the reviews attached and I am not the only person that this management team is breaching the Australian Consumer Law with. Don't buy from them!

I bought a macbook here. It had a fault, i returned it for a repair under store warranty. They refused to honour this warranty and charged me for the repair.

Go to this shop quite a bit. The staff are amazing. Great deals and friendly. Have no hesitation in recommending this place.

I had the incredibly unfortunate experience of attending the JB HiFi store in Kawana Shopping Centre on the Sunshine Coast last Sunday afternoon January 30th. If I were able to provide a lower rating I would. I needed to attend the store to pick up a new computer system. On entering the store I was greeted by a thug who said to me "you right mate". I believe his name was Alex. I found this greeting both offensive and inappropriate as I am 75 years of age. He directed me to the cashiers counter where there were no other customers, but two female cashiers behind the counter.
They both totally ignored me until some time had elapsed and the older woman asked what I wanted with a tone that made me know she was annoyed with me interrupting what she was doing. I said I was there to pick up a computer and handed over my receipt. Without saying anything she left the area, and some time later returned and thrust a piece of paper over the counter saying "you have to sign this". I said I was not signing anything until I had confirmed the product I was there for was indeed the correct one. With this she left the area again.
Then she returned accompanied by two males. One of whom was the thug who greeted me on entering the store. This thug then very aggressively and loudly said on two occasions; "you will be tossed out of the store" By now I was becoming quite upset at the ridiculous treatment I was getting. I said to these people I wanted to speak to the duty manager. This turned out to be the second male who appeared with the old woman. His name was David and he had been listening to what was happening. He apologised for this and assisted me to check the product was the correct one. During my conversation with David, the older woman interjected aggressively and said she wanted to put her side of the story. (what story I wondered) She said I lost my temper (which I didn't) obviously in an attempt to draw the situation away from her guilt and bad behaviour in front of the manager.
David apologised to me again and I then left the store with the product, feeling absolutely dumbfounded and confused at the treatment I had received. JB HiFi you have failed in a major way in this situation, I think I should be compensated for the treatment I received and your employees seriously reprimanded.

Customer service at Kawana is so bad I will go to Maroochydore from now on.
Staff need more training on products and service.

I rang to get help with my Lenovo laptop but the operator at JB hi fi Kawana said they were too busy.so I asked who do I call she said “I don’t know, with a sigh -I’ll have to look! “ Pretty unprofessional & very unpleasant!

Went in there today for some help with my purchase. Kip, an employee was on the floor & helped me loads, his knowledge was amazing, it was a very helpful experience & I appreciate his help a lot. It made me think a lot more highly of JB HiFi.

Looking for a Sony OLED TV and their Boxing Day Sale had the best price & free delivery. How can you go wrong.
Then their delivery team turned up earlier than advised, and sent a text advising of their imminent early arrival.
The tv was delivered no dramas, a great experience all round!

Great store Definitely not enough staff Waiting around for long periods of time for advice and service in store Also rang stores on hold for long periods of time Most intense person is the security at the front very disappointed with all Mdore stores and Kawana Ended up purchasing elsewhere

Discriminating, rude, no people skills or nor are they customer service oriented. Walked in to the store with intention to buy a laptop and walked out due to the rudeness your staff members at Kawana. After waiting for 15 minutes (which it was busy so I understand) I was between two models of laptops when I explained to the team member that I am happy looking and I’ll come back when I make my mind up. The comments that were made by the young man to his team members were disgusting way too inappropriate to express on a company page. I’ll be writing a formal email to address these issues and would encourage better training and maybe a better hiring system.

Was served by the rudest, most arrogant salesperson i have met in a long time. Asked to look at a TV for our spare room. Pointed at a random TV and said "that". I asked for a 32" (after he pointed out a 52") and his response was " all sold out. Good guys might have some". THANKS!

Service is a bit hit and miss, had a lovely guy help us with ordering in stuff from another shop and was really helpful. When we went to pick up the order staff member was very rude.
