Amazing trainers who are very patient with beginners. A very affordable way of keeping fit while meeting new people. A great place to train

Love Karate Gold Coast - it is a real community with instructors that believe in teaching quality karate. The techniques are taught systematically so kids can learn easily and properly. There are so many amazing girls who have trained hard and stuck with it because they love it and are now brown belts. My daughter (15) has a wonderful bunch of friends she loves training with. Highly recommend! We have tried other schools and very happy we found Karate Gold Coast!

Fantastic family martial arts environment, friendly and supportive teachers (Sensei), using traditional Japanese methods. Adults and children classes.
Highly recommended.

My wife & I are very happy to have found Hakuakai Karate and have our son join this club. The instructors are very patient, knowledgeable, understanding and very experienced. We took our time to find the right club for him and our son is very happy to join Gold Coast's, Japan Karate Do Hakuakai Australia. If you are looking for a traditional Karate and is locally based, I highly recommend you give Hakuakai Karate Do a call and try them out.

“”I DON’T PAY FOR KARATE“”

From a Karate parent.

One of my friends asked "Why do you pay so much money and spend so much time running around for your son to do karate? " Well I have a confession to make: I don't pay for Karate! I don’t pay for my son’s karate lessons. I don't pay for his mitts.or suits or his competitions.

So, if I am not paying for karate, what am I paying for?

- I pay for those moments when my boy becomes so tired he feels like quitting but doesn't.
- I pay for the opportunity that my boy can have and will have to make life-long friendships.
- I pay for the chance that he may have amazing instructors that will teach him that karate is not just about movement but about life.
- I pay for my child to learn to be disciplined.
- I pay for my child to learn to take care of herself.
- I pay for my child to learn to work with others and to be a proud, supportive, kind and respectful dojo member.
- I pay for my child to learn to deal with disappointment, when he doesn't get that score he hoped for, or fell during a move he has practiced a thousand times, but he still gets up and is determined to do his BEST next time.
- I pay for my boy to learn to make and accomplish goals.
- I pay for my boy to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success does not happen overnight.
- I pay so that my boy can be in the dojo instead of in front of a screen.

I could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for karate; I pay for the opportunities that karate provides my child to develop attributes that will serve him well throughout his life and give him the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen for many, many years, I think it is a great investment.

We are thrilled to have found Japan Karate Do Hakuakai Australia for our son. All the instructors are true professionals – knowledgeable, passionate and experienced both in karate and importantly how to teach it. Sensei Dhanesh sets the tone in creating a friendly, caring, fun environment where everyone feels valued and that they belong. The standards are high. But with instructors who know how to teach and get the best out of everyone, everything and anything is achievable. Japan Karate Do Hakuakai Australia really is a breath of fresh air in the Gold Coast martial arts community. Come for a visit and I’ll guarantee you’ll be back.
