InStitchu, Brisbane

The worse and un-professional customer service I’ve ever seen in life. I bought more than 7 shirts from Institchu and worn few of them. I tried wearing one today and never fit me as I wanted. I walked into institchu store to book appointment and explain to them what I want since it’s close to my work place. Upon reaching there. The two staff didn’t even gave me chance explaining. As soon as I mentioned I was there for adjustment. They said with rudely tone that I can’t just walk in without, they want to charge me for adjustment of which I was told it’s free when clothes can’t fit well after being purchased. I felt like am being scammed. I was not going to see doctor and retail shops are open to public. With these treatments. I regret buying from them. The need under the consumer law rights.

Now that the order has been completed and the wedding is over I’m leaving this. Honestly the brisbane branch is to be avoided. My fathers suit was too small as the shirt so he had restricted movement in a custom made suit.
You had 4 months lead time and had 3 meetings and yet it still wasn’t ready until the week of the wedding!
We had a call a week earlier to say it was done, everyone went in and only 1/4 suits was completed. My husband and the grooms party also never saw the same person twice, there was zero continuity and no one and a clue what was what!
Zero compensation for wasted time and undue stress.

I had my wedding suit and 4 groomsmen’s suits made for my recent wedding. Billy did a great job of everything from helping with the designs and measuring us up, right through to ensuring everything fit well and was ready on time. They also did a great job coordinating two out-of-town groomsmen having theirs measured and fitted at the Sydney and Perth showrooms. It was such a fun experience, made even better by Billy’s sense of humor and fun (and making sure we always had a beer in hand if we were waiting on anything).

We walked in without an appointment as we were at our wits end trying to find the right suit for our wedding. Emogene welcomed us even though we were not booked and helped us immensely. My wife showed her pictures of her dress and Emogene immediately found the perfect match for me as well as my Groomsman and Grooms woman to suit the wedding dress which was not your typical white dress. Everything was ordered and paid for and we were never stressed once in Emogene's hands. I can not praise her or InStichu high enough and my wife and i will be back to purchase our work and formal clothing. Thank you Emogene, you were an integral piece of our wedding day puzzle.

My experience with Emogene and the team at Institchu in Brisbane purchasing the suits for myself and mu groomsmen was fantastic so much so that I bought an additional suit for a friends wedding.

There service was great and the prices are reasonable for the experience you get, they definitely have a repeat customer.

Had the pleasure of working with Emogene. We had a fantastic experience, she was very knowledgeable and was not afraid to give us her honest opinion which was very much appreciated. Always professional and personable. Suits were exactly what we had hoped for. We will go back, and have recommended our friends to visit Emogene.

Billy is great, hard to believe I can now say I have a stylist, lol. Honestly a great experience and look forward to “ Suiting Up”

My overall impression of my experience at Institchu?
Average really.
Initial consultation was great. Rebecca was brilliant, full of energy, knowledge and customer service. She was making the experience of purchasing my wedding suit fun. Ordering the suit and measuring up was great.

Then Rebecca moved to Sydney.

Then, the customer service vanished. I had to chase them for an update for when my suit would be ready for fitting. Once booked, the fitting experience was particularly cold, and my groomsman did not receive the specifications requested for his suit and shirt. We were also told that despite their mistake, they would not be able to rectify it in time for the wedding, despite me approaching Institchu 6 months before the wedding in the first instance.

I had to chase them yet again for my suit post fitting which took 12 days to turn around for relatively small adjustments. Upon collection I saw yet another sales assistant who couldn't have made the occasion less special if he'd tried.

Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience and I wouldn't recommend to anyone who doesn't want to do all the legwork or want any sense of occasion to purchasing their custom wedding suit.

Went in for a business suit fitting. I had Nathan, who was absolutely brilliant!

They know the field like the back of their hand, and provided thorough and valuable advice along the way.

I will 100% be getting more suits with Nathan at Institchu, and I strongly recommend anyone thinking about it to do the same!

I had the pleasure of meeting with Rebecca from InStitchu Brisbane to refresh my Business wardrobe in preparation for an international trip.
Rebecca not only produced exactly the style and cut of suits and shirts I wanted but demonstrated amazing attention to detail resulting in an outstanding end result - professional, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.
If you need the extra edge in relation to clothing I can only recommend that you make an appointment immediately.

Bec is absolutely wonderful. She was extraordinarily knowledgeable and accommodating and made us feel completely comfortable during what can be an awkward experience. Easily the best suit purchase and fitting experience I’ve ever had.

Never heard of this company before, but let me tell you I have now.
Your TV add on channel 7 drives me absolutely nuts.
Over 1 add break I counted 5 times, twice it played back to back.
Not sure who you use for a marketing team, but let me tell you, the way they are abusing your advertising budget you will be bankrupt by next week.
Definitely up there with National Tiles add.

I have decided to use Institchu for my wedding after a great experience for my brothers wedding. Josh in Brisbane was accomodating, knowledgeable and customer focused. We felt very involved and in control of the process, despite not knowing much going in. I believe this was mostly due to the experience and communication skills of Josh. I am looking forward to future consultations and will definitely be planning on ordering more suits in the future.

I had an exceptional experience at InStitchu, Brisbane. I was looked after by a gentleman by the name of Josh and he measured me up for two new suits. He was professional and polite throughout the entire consultation and had a great eye for detail. His fashion taste mirrored mine and so it was easy to arrive at a suit design and fabric combination that I liked. Would 100% recommend InStitchu to anyone who is looking for their first custom tailored suit.

Great location, however, the staff were terribly rude and disrespectful. I’ve had better experiences at a funeral. It was the largest waste of money.

We had scheduled a suit fitting for my best mates wedding party at the Brisbane store. The service that Josh provided was so professional and easy going, it made the whole experience seamless! His knowledge in the suit game was exceptional and we learnt a thing or two along the way. Will be spreading the word about Josh and the team at Brisbane!

Positive review. Though, some minor issues due to covid. Since this business relies on overseas shipping and overseas companies. I recommend organising suits well in advance. Due to an overseas covid outbreak.one of my groomsmens suits arrived the day after the wedding day and the tracking information was lost to instichu. Institchu went above and beyond to provide a matching perfectly fitted suit for my groomsman. I would like to thank Sean and Billy for their excellent work. All the suits looked great.

Don't pay for your suit until you have it in your hands. Or just go somewhere else. A Nightmare dealing with this company.
