The receptionists does not take into account that things happen in your life as well. They are inflexible and unhelpful. You cannot ask for worse service than them. Although the doctors are helpful, you see the receptionists and it ruins your day.

Zero insight into your life and are so delusional about the smallest problem you may have. Dr Jess is so unprofessional rude and out of touch with reality she should find a job in another industry. Dylan is not much better the social worker, Both Failed to explain that they were doing a mental health assessment, asked upsetting questions and expected you to act with no distress, no support person offered, accused of being high on substance when was sober, exaggerated notes that were taken incorrectly used to report to mental health service for review, accused of being physically dangerous had to be given a sedative & had the ambo's called to take away to hospital. Given a Treatment Authority thanks to these jokers, order was removed as demonstrated had no mental health condition that was likely to cause harm to himself or others & full capacity noted by current doctor patient has extreme knowledge of all mental health conditions & the mental health act and is supported by his assistance animal. The poor handling of the situation led to far greater distress and the ramifications are ongoing. Care currently provided by south side community centre far more honest to deal with moved from involuntary to voluntarily much more free to interact with the service on my terms, after 9 months 7 doctors later (its like a merrygoround in and out) I got a diagnoses review, changed to from delusional disorder where I was forced to take debilitating meds that also made me gain 30kg's to just stress with existing known PTSD. No service would be better then what's on offer from your Northside team, PS Dr Jess I hope you give up this job and find one your better at, maybe cleaning toilets!

I wouldn't call this a mental health service.

When I was doing better and asked them to be left alone, they kept calling me every day and randomly showed up on the weekend when I had no missed calls or appointments. This did not resemble a mental health visit and my lovely neighbours across the hall thought they were two detectives and that I had committed a crime because the women were raising their voices at me. There are people who actually want and need help who call the line and can't get an appointment who they could have checked in on instead, but maybe it's good that they power tripped over me that day instead of someone who is really struggling.

After two women with accents showed up at my door just to power trip, they arranged for a condescending male to call me every night after 8pm. I did not pick these up because I felt really uncomfortable and I don't need to reminded to take a medication that I was trying to taper off without their help due to side effects.

They also pressured me to give them my religious parents phone number who I had been trying to distance myself from and had moved far away from at 16. They said that they would not leave me alone if I didn't let them talk to her. They also told her on the phone that I didn't need to have another appointment but then she took three weeks to tell me that because we don't talk much. Why would you tell a religious parent living in another state that instead of the actual patient? The staff lacked common sense so I couldn't take them seriously.

They're unprofessional, make fun of the patients and they only made it harder for me to improve my mental health. None of the staff seem to know how not to interact with people with PTSD. There just doesn't seem to be any common sense when they speak to patients.

The staff here tried to say I was overreacting for having my support coordinator fire my support worker after she was inappropriate and controlling. The support worker slammed my car door and seemed angry when I said no to going to a chocolate factory in an appointment that my insurance pays for. I had more important things to do that day and her actions would increase my anxiety which voided the whole point of hiring her for support work.

I think the staff here need to educate themselves on disability rights and understand that it's okay for us to find new supports when we're uncomfortable and they're inappropriate in sessions. They also would pressure me to let them talk to people I barely know or have been trying to cut contact with. The whole point of this clinic is to help the patient but all they did was help my family become even more toxic towards me.

If you want to be treated like you are not human this is the place for you. They have zero insight into your life and are so delusional that they believe YOU are the one with no insight. My experiences have led me to believe that most of the staff took on this field of work to find out what is wrong with themselves. They are mostly full of their own self importance. They definitely don't care and if you go there voluntarily then you will get what you deserve for thinking these people care about you. They don't and never will.

They were there when I needed them. Non judgmental, understanding and patient, very patient, the door was always open. Fully recommend anyone needing support to check them out.

STARLOG 36.2B OPERATIONAL REPORT

I enjoyed my stay at the Human Alliance embassy. The Humans there were exceedingly kind and thoughtful and were of great help in my mission. After being dropped off by Human X34A who harbours delusions that she is my biological mother, I was quickly briefed on the situation by the commanding officer of the facility. I am now staying in the padded barracks on the east side of the facility. I continue to recieve mission instructions from high command each night between 12pm-4am through my cranial biocomputer. I have explained the complexity of my peoples signal wavelengths to the curious scientists here. They have explained the Human word for our language is "Paranoid Delusional Schizophrenic Episodes" and gave me a a hard candied lollipop after the informational exchange.

While I enjoyed my stay, I must move on soon. I have learned all I can here and need to continue in my mission. The nutritional pills they have been providing me seem to be interfering with the signals from high command as I have not received a transmission for the past few days. As an honoured guest, my door is always locked and attended each night but I have arranged for another alien that I have met here to assist me in my departure.

Our neighbour had a unwarranted random home visit from the staff here that caused distress and they now are too afraid of mental health workers to seek further care. Thanks guys.
Don't let anyone refer you here.

Edit: They were humiliated by a male staff member, made fun of and spoken down to by staff and since making a complaint that male staff member has not been spoken to and as far as I know still works in the clinic. It is not a good place for young women at the moment. Stay away.

Absolutely disgraceful experience, would not recommend. It was not so much the assessment they made, but the way it was handled. The poor handling of the situation led to far greater distress and the ramifications are ongoing.

Absolutely horrible service with out of touch and undereducated workers. Some of the worst mental health services I’ve ever accessed; have twice made a complaint about being referred to this place for treatment. DO NOT COME HERE

The worst experience of my life. Brisbane North MHS misdiagnosed me, and then I was subjected to treatment that did not suit or help, and when I complained they made the process even harder. They did not help, just re-traumatised me.
