IGA Acacia Ridge reviews
26The Customer Service experience I got from Nialls on Tuesday night. Was exceptional. He went above and beyond for me. And a few wks earlier my Mother came in. Nialls took the 24 pack of water out to her car. Took it out of the Trolley, then put it, in the front seat of her car. Because my mother can't lift any thing. It was Amazing. It's so good to see Fantastic Customer Service coming from this Iga. Nialls is always friendly to the Customers. It's such a delight to see him working on the Checkouts Tuesday night.
This IGA has to be the best I have been to ever! The prices are great but what’s even better is there fresh sandwiches, salads and hot food! Wow what can I say ……. I travel out of my way to get a sandwhich every morning for my work lunchbox and I Lovley egg and bacon roll for breakfast
Highly rate and look forward to the fresh food everyday! Also you must try there Ham of the bone in the deli! Wow
This place needs to be investigated by the health department, every time that I go to this supermarket the meat products are out of date. Every time! Today it was out of date by over a month and you could tell that the expired products were placed towards the front on purpose. I told the checkout employee about it just like I do every other time but they just dont care. Absolutely disgusting, I would rate 0 stars if I could.
Convenient location when regular grocery stores are closed. Pricing is pretty average however being an IGA.
Terrible terrible terrible. Fail to open when advertised both on their website and banners out front. Liars. Way to go with OVERPROMISING AND TOTALLY NOT DELIVERING
They don't update their public holiday opening hours. I just walked 20 minutes each way to find them closed. I won't bother next time. And they wonder why they struggle against Woolworths and Coles.
Great staff! The fresh produce can be a bit hit or miss though. For an IGA the prices aren't too bad either! Happy to shop there.
There was a Woolies near me but I always went to the IGA if I could. Great staff. Products at similar prices and you can just get in and out if you are only getting a few things for dinner - without the hassle.
Friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, early to open, and you know it's a winner when the old boys are lined up at 6 for papers and coffee.
Large store with ample parking. Fresh veg, great service and large deli.
$3 bacon, egg n cheese muffins ready to go in the morning.
This shop has really changed for the better, so modern & looks big & clean & a lot more available products. Been going there for 30 odd years & it has changed hands but I was really impressed with the cheaper prices. The staff are friendly & accommodating! Excellent!
Same experience as Thoreen’s review 4 days ago. I had my face covered with my shirt, my mask elastic broke and flew out window. The girl said “I won’t serve you without mask” I said I would buy one but no, they don’t have any. There was no please or courtesy or “sorry or please”. I wonder if it was the same girl. She yelled over serving customers and was rude all round. I have shopped there over two years. The thing is Aldi and Woolworths are up the road. IGA have nothing I need or want.
Today and yes I know need a mask raced out of home to go to the shops to get supplies for my husband. All I had in the car was baby wipes so I put two over my face. Walked into the store past store staff while getting my groceries. Standing at the front waiting to be served a man walked in with no mask staff asked him to leave. The girl at the counter looked at me and said next the phone rang she answered it. I put up my groceries she turned around and said can’t serve you as you have no mask. I said my face is covered she said no. Didn’t even ask if there was a reason. I called and got the shift manager and she goes we are busy that is why no one said anything sorry poor excuse when they had obviously seen the other person.
I have just been to this shop and they are selling 400 ml bottles of hand sanitizer for $25.99. It's only a refill bottle, not even a pump, what a ripoff. It's called profiteering. We will remember. Won't let me give no stars so unfortunately I have to give one
It has friendly staff with ample parking. Has alot of variety for a little shop. Sells hotbox food as well as tasty salads, colmeat etc. Prices are pretty comparable.
Off product. Bought some food from the deli which stank. No follow up from the manager. Couldn’t care less about a refund but the sickness I would have suffered had I ate it. It had the tiniest expiry date though I asked if it was made fresh that day and was assured it was. It actually expired the day I purchased it (though it had probably expired 3 days prior!). Dishonest staff and rubbish food quality and respect for customers. Avoid this IGA.
Good to have the IGA close for all those top up grocery needs. Staff are pleasant, store is well stocked and the recent reno has made it more roomy and we'll presented.
Went in there yesterday and I was throughly disgusted. I Icould see lots of mould growing on those refrigerator shelves under the packages of meat especially in the middle section, and maybe it's just the lighting but some of the mince that was reduced looked way too gray than usual - could be the refrigerator or the packaging.
Edit: one month later and the shop looks totally different! There's still a way to go, but no doubt in a few weeks it'll look less grass roots and more high end! Congrats I think you'll be getting more regular customers.
Great selection of food and other household items. Great place to go when in need of getting some essentials but have no time to go to the nearby Coles or Woolies. Would Recommend!
Good place for a quick late night spend for recipe items for a home cooked meal.
Everything about the centre is open and obvious - it's dated and has age - with age comes wisdom and Or as use it remarkably well.
