The team at Idealpos cannot be faulted! We have used the Idealpos Software for years & recently transitioned to Idealpos Support team directly who have gone above & beyond for us. Their software is a powerful, user friendly and cost-effective Software for any business in need of POS. In addition, the installation team Clay & Brad were sensational, putting out little fires for us left, right & center. These two were polite, efficient and all round amazing. You truly do have some assets on your team and we can't thank you or recommend enough.
Faultless service from the support team. If we have a problem, Jason, Gerry and the team have always helped us out.
Gavin and Freddy respond very quickly to our queries and resolve all of our POS needs quickly and with exceptional customer service.
I have a idelpos cash register that I have purchased from them 4 years ago apparently they become not compatible & out of date after 4 years & spending $ 5000.00 on the purchase think twice before buying from them as i asked if they would buy it back.to my surprise he told me that reply.so on this note I would never buy idealpos system from them again

Just rebuilt our database to reflect changes in our business over the last year. Had great support and guidance from many people at Idealpos over the last few months. Went live tonight and it was seamless. New reports tested at the end of service will really help us understand our trade much better. Setting up the product to focus on our needs has been great. Recently i left a 1 star review on this business because that was my general impression of their work ethic and overall professionalism.
Ive had constant drama with their POS system thats apparently are meant to work to up to and i quote "6 years" yet ive worked in venues that have had tills for 10+ years that work as good as new, their fees are extortionate at best where the second it hits after 5pm your charged up to if not more of 300$ an hour.
When i initially placed this review i had spent 3-4 hours on constant back and fourth phone calls trying to facilitate the problem with my terminal only to be told even after being a customer for 6+ year that my issue isnt something they can 1) deal with in a timely manner and 2) give me one straight answer with out being grossly negligent.
Beyond disappointing that their general answer to everything is pay first and we'll fix later - ill tell you what ill be recommending this business overall to NONE of my peers, theres SO many other POS systems operator's on the market that the experience ive dealt with in the last few weeks seem like a walk in the park.
PS, if a customer leaves you a 1 star review, instead of getting aggressive and condescending on the phone maybe try and work with them - i couldn't believe the lack of professionalism that was displayed by the employee i dealt with, i'm a customer for the time being, treat me like one or ill go to a different supplier.
Expensive product
No support unless you pay a ridiculous yearly fee or ludicrous after hours fees. Perhaps if they lowered the yearly fee more businesses would opt for it. They only recommend 3-5 years for the pos system life Span.
Jack is there only saving grace, if he is still there make sure you speak with him.
You have to pay for them to diagnose the terminal issue and then tell you your better off buying an entire new terminal. There are plenty of costs - installation, diagnostics, call out fees, after hour fees because they can't make it before 5pm even though you called in the morning or the day prior, hardware fees - the list just keeps on going.
Plenty of other POS options out there that have the same functionality and much better service/ 24hr support and are updating the software to ensure it's always up to date with no additional costs.
