Hungry Jack's reviews
78I have just recently ordered from this specific hungry jacks using the the hungry jacks online app. I came to pick it up from the drive thru and waited quite a while to receive my food which was fine but then when I received my meal I didn’t notice until I got home, that I did not recieve half of what I have ordered, which was very disappointing. I suggest hiring people who actually can do their job with pride.
The hash browns were cold (it was just 8 in the morning). The brekky wrap was okay-ish. Wasn’t much of a wait for food.
Staff are generally polite and food is ok. We come here weekly as live down the road and its convenient. They have never got my order right (ratio 10: 1, wrong: correct). We are a biggish family and every single time we are missing various items from our order which is super frustrating but we are suckers and go back every week due to convenience. Observations are that the staff are messing around constantly and there doesn't seem to be structure behind the counter. I get it they are all teens but c'mon guys focus because throwing free money at the place is annoying but we don't wanna eat maccas chips.
Brought breakfast around 8am here on a saturday morning, we went through the drive thru & we were asked to park around front. They took around 20mins to bring it out. Then we had started eating realising they had missed key ingredients from the food items. They then had to re-make the order which took another 10mins… it was nice once done. But wouldn’t recommend going there if you’re in a hurry.
Went through drive through ordered a vegan rebel whopper which comes with a plant based patty. Got to the second window after paying at the first where I was told it would be a 12 min wait for the patty to be cooked on the grill and offered for it to be deep fried. I said sure, I was then given a weird smooshy mess inside the burger which was definitely not a rebel pattie. I took it back through the drive through and was told they will not be making rebel patties for another 30 minutes as they had to build up their beef meat Pattie’s supply. I asked if it can be made to order and was refused as they said the meat needed to cook, they further explained the pattie requires 6 minutes to cook. I find this extremely dissatisfactory and discriminatory from a fast food vendor who boasts about their REBEL Whopper. The female staff member who dealt with me was extremely abrasive and rude and not someone who should be working in a costumer fronting role. The lack of organisation and problem solving is not appreciated and I will not be returning. I recommend trying GYG down the road. Skip the arrogance and attitude and drive 10 more meters. Amazing vegan range and not RUDE. Same price too.
Some little scoundrel tried stabbing me and offering me a handy in the bathroom for a cheeky $30,5 minutes later a little rapscallion tried "stunching" me a swift left hook and I made it out of there the person at the front was nice I think her
name was lily
The hygiene and lack of cleanliness in the store and toilets turned me off buying. It wasn't just a busy day, the shop is deeply dirty. Management should be ashamed. Yuck!
Ordered domino's delivery whilst i was in the drive through. Got my pizzas quicker. Hopeless. No matter what we order in the drive through have a long wait in the waiting Bay.
Unfortunately the lady serving did not call out my order because she didn't realise I was in the restaurant, perhaps because I sat then ordered from my phone
After a long wait in the drive through we got the wrong burgers that must have been hours old. Inedible.
Food wasn't fully cooked. Revolting. Won't be back. Shame that Mt Ommaney closed, this one should have closed.
Promised my kids a milk shake- they were out of milkshake mix. Now I'm stuck in the VERY SLOW drive through with unhappy kids. Would understand if this was a small business but for a H. J surely you have systems in place to not run out of stock.
Our first time at Hungry Jack's. Decided to take my 2 kids under 5 on Thursday after daycare as my 4yr old daughter always asks us to take her there.
We weren't disappointed. With the young man who took our order very professionally and the girl with the beautiful face piercings who gave us a big smile as she served our food at the counter, we had a lovely time.
Nuggets were super soft, chips were real and the apple juice was premium quality along with a straw! Nit to mention the kids toys was humungous!
Beats Macca's with their fake chips and hard nuggets and breakable toys.
Beats the Macca around the corner! Fries is always hot and crispy, burger is a hit and miss, mostly just mediocre.
Huge disappointment had to reheat everything when I got home which is 5mins from the restaurant the beef patty felt like it came out of a fridge and the chips were really old and soggy. Had to construct the burger as everything that was ment to be on the burger was around the outside of the box with 2 drops of sauce. It only get 1 star because of the friendly staff. You really need to review the quality of food you are sending out.
Don't know why I have to speak to the stupid box!? Burgers with almost no salad, charred chicken, undercooked fries, problems with all meals, shouldn't be open for business
The drive-thru experience is not good at all. For my last order, I had to wait at the window for more than 10 minutes. Even I placed that order online 10 minutes before I arrived at the restaurant.
Wouldn’t make a vegan rebel burger at 9: 45, yes they close at 10 but they should advertise that so people don’t waste their time
Premises was clean when I visited and the staff were friendly and easy to speak with. They have tables inside if you wish to dine in. Food order was correct and tasty.
States open until 11pm but was well and truly closed looking with the drive through closed and lights off at 10pm.
