What a wonderful history of Chinese in FNQ, shared by enthusiastic volunteers in small groups. I recommend the full temple tour to fully understand what the early Chinese went through, how they coped and thrived.

The Chinese Temple and artifacts are in excellent condition considering the age of the building. The guided tour is recommended for a full appreciation and understanding of the historical value to Atherton.

We were given a fabulous guided tour by Neil who went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience for us. Something not to be missed if you’re visiting the tablelands.

Amazing bit of Australian history. Well worth a stop for an hour or so. Well done to everyone trying to preserve this bit of history.
