Horseland

Came into store with a slightly odd request for a halter to practice orientation and buckling with, being a non-horse person in a uni degree involving horses. Not only did the beautiful staff fulfil this request with zero judgement and perfect recommendations, but I had an awesome conversation and it just made my day! Keep on being awesome guys, thanks!

The girls at Horseland were friendly and fabulous. They had great knowledge and were so amazing with our children thatvwere rearranging things in store. You must visit of in need of anything horsey!

Good place with good people, but there really needs to be smaller sizes. When I arrived the smallest size was 8 and I even had to try on kids sized jodhpurs? Please stock up on size 6 as there are a lot of us smaller people.

As per most of us (horse crazy people) I always love going into a shop stocking horse gear.they have a good range & the staff aren't pushy.hence a relaxed shopping experience! Thanks ladies x

Visited with my partner to get my first pair of riding boots. Very tidy store, great service and good range!

Very poor customer service. 2 people in the shop and I am the only customer but somehow still had to wait and basically self serve.

The customer is the reason for your job.not an interruption to it.

Also - the socks in their try on box are clearly filthy and smelly and I doubt are covid compliant.

You’d be better buying online or tying a different shop.

The staff are all always so helpful and friendly it is definitely my first option to go shopping any time

I had a lovely experience at Horseland with my daughter. My daughter had saved her money and was wanting to purchase some donations items to the RSPCA. Not only were the staff very helpful in suggesting what they would like, they also provided her with a good discount and were very encouraging of what she was doing. I went to horseland at Underwood which I believed is run by Horseland head office. I wanted to buy my daughter riding boots. My daughter and I stood in the shoe section near where another customer and a sales attendant were (1.5 m) and waited. The sales attendant ignored us completely, she did not greet us or acknowledge us in anyway which is just basic customer service. We ended up serving our selves. As I was looking for the boots, I could hear another staff member rummaging out of the back too. The sales attendant continued to ignore us she didn't call out to the other staff member to help out. She even ignored my daughter as she instructed the other customer to sit right next my daughter as she was trying on a boot I found. There was no social distancing practiced by the staff.
When the sales attendant finally acknowledged us, she could not find the other boot to the one my daughter had on which had been on display. This boot was the only style of boot we wanted to try on. She said it had been lost.

Rather than continue with this bad encounter, I elected to take my custom to Horseland at Ipswich which is a franchise. The staff there were wonderful, obliging and greeted everyone who entered their store even whilst they served my daughter and myself.
I would have suspected with all the COVID 19 restrictions, high unemployment and the limited type of clientele (people who love horses) that staff off any Horseland business would need to to be encouraging customers.

Very helpful staff! Great range of stock.only problem is I always end up walking out with 10 times what I went in for because everything is so pretty I have no self control in horseland ‍️

I bought a pair of jodhpurs near the end of last year and was told that I would be getting them before Christmas. I still haven't gotten them and normally I have no issues. The staff there are awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable but I have called up many times and are told they should be in by the end of the week each time. Great to shop in store but if you have to order something I don't recommend it.

Fantastic help today. Needed a screw to fix my daughter's saddle. It was no trouble for them to take a screw off one of their saddles you get us back in the saddle asap. Thanks very much!

Almost comprehensive store for horse enthusiasts.the range of Akubra and saddles was great. I didn't take advantage of the tea though it was available. Finally friendly staff.

Grace who works there is quite pleasant and made my 10 year old Daughters shopping experience relaxed and fun

Lawnton store has terrible service and is very messy, staff don't have very good customer service skills, you wait quite sometime to get help. Staff make excuses for slackness.

Underwood store has good service, quick to see if you need any help, will go that extra step to help out. The store is always neat and tidy.

Horseland in general has basic equine equipment, supplies, clothing and boots. Does not sell feed or bulk supplements.

Limited range of product lines, and a lot of new stuff sells out quickly, they don't replenish seasonal stock to last the whole season.

Overpriced in general compared to other places.

Terable service went with my wife to buy boots for her birthday got totaly ignored by staff. We were there 10 min before other customers but they got priorioty cos they were looking at more pricy items
