Great repair to my Car, but they are understaffed and overworked. Had to wait 3 months to get in. I wish they would open a Super Holmes shop with twice as many staff. Get those waiting times down for sure.

When I picked up my car not only was the interior covered with white powder that vacuuming alone would not remove but the passenger door would not open and the internal light kept saying the door was open. I took it back for this to be looked at and I was told it's an 'old car thing' and that the locking mechanism or door latch had catched. However, the whole locking mechanism & door latch had been replaced not 4 years ago. Upon closer inspection when I had my car returned to me for the second time, there were new paint chips on the door. The staff had remained polite. However politeness does not excuse negligence.
Will not be recommending. Very disappointed.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Plus they finished the repair on time and it looks as good as new.

Very terrible service. Ask to wait 60 days to finished the repair due to backlog, the audacity to received more repair how incompetent. Wrong choice to put my car with them in a first place, I should have done my research first. Don't do the same mistake as mine, go elsewhere I can't recommend this people, bad services in all truest sense.

Stay away from this mob. Plenty of well reputed businesses out there that are eager to help.if you end up with these then be prepared to wait for your vehicle’s repair endlessly and further be on the receiving end of rude Inconsiderate behaviour from their staff members. Do your research people.

Terrible communication

My partner recently had work done to her car and is quite disappointed with the communication received.

She had to follow up to check on the status of the car to which we were told would not be ready until Friday (last week) when it was initially to be picked up on Wednesday (last week). My partner also sent an email looking to confirm that she was right to pick up her car, which received no acknowledgement or response. Due to this delay she then had to extend her hire on short notice so that she could continue to get to and from work for the rest of the week.

Then she received a call at 2.40pm last Friday, advising that her car was ready to be picked up. My partner was not told that your business closes early on a Friday and would have appreciated more than 20 mins notice as she had organised to leave work early that day at 4.30pm to be there before 5.00pm. This is yet another inconvenience as she had to then come in again to collect her key.

My partner chose to put her car in with you guys at the recommendation of RACQ and we were very disappointed with the service I received.

Would not recommend.

Extremely poor service and poor communication from staff. I had to constantly ring to obtain updates on repairs. Car was taken on the 06 Oct with an estimated pick up date on the 20 Nov. This was the delayed 3 times! And told "it will definitely ready by the 8th Dec". Called to get an update on the 8th and it still is not ready for collection.

Our daughters car had damage to the front right of vehicle before Christmas.supposed to be finished end of January. Somehow the car got forgotten. Motor wouldn’t start.took then over a month to get that sorted. Which hasn’t been rectified. Received the car today, 4th March, to realise the colour of the front panels don’t even match the rest of the car. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. I’ll be letting Suncorp know about their preferred repairer. The inside of the car was filthy and clearly the vehicle has been sitting out in the weather and now has rust over the back of the tray.please shop around.

Our car went in for an insurance repair. Was finished on the estimated date and was collected absolutely spotless inside and out. Expected it to be repaired, but not detailed! Definitely delivered above expectations

Back of my car got hit. Fixed the bumper but said the lock couldn't be fixed under the insurance as the rear door wasn't directly inpacted despite the lock breaking from the force of the accident.

They kept trying to fix an issue with my vehicle, even though insurance wasn't playing ball. Staff a relatively friendly but the front counter girls have a pretty poor attitude if you ever have an issue. Talk with the people who do the work rather than the front counter staff if you want the right information

After having our car repaired, we were told that they couldnt replace the front windscreen and our car battery was not working like how we gave it in the first place. The car also took very long to repair despite it being a week and a half job. They also didnt manage to contact me to tell me that the car was not ready and made excuses like “we could not get in contact with you” when i clearly have no missed calls or emails by the company. The staff were also very rude and not helpful.

Had to take my car there 5 times to rectify quality issues.the owner ended up "fixing" the problem by filling behind the clips with black goo so the pannel wouldnt rattle. 10/10 dont recommend

Very poor repair took these guys almost a month to fix a very small amount of work which should have taken a few days. The work quality is very poor and as i was driving my car i saw some parts weren't fixed properly causing it to rattle around. There were a lot of scratches present on my car after the repair. I highly recommend not to take you cars to repair at Holmes. Also the communication is poor very unprofessional guys. I want RACQ to change these guys as the recommended. So if you want your cars to have the best fixing experience don't take it to Holmes smash repairs.
