I recently visited the Hilton for breakfast on 01/01/2024 between 9: 00 AM and 9: 30 AM and unfortunately had a rather disheartening experience with the valet parking and security staff.

Upon my arrival, I approached the valet parking area with the expectation of convenient parking as a hotel guest. However, I was informed by the valet parking attendant that I couldn't park my car on the premises. This was unexpected and contrary to the level of service I have come to expect from Hilton.

Furthermore, when seeking clarification from the security personnel, I encountered a similar lack of assistance and understanding. It's essential for the security team to be aware that their interactions contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.

I would like to bring this to your attention with the hope that the matter will be addressed appropriately. As a loyal customer, I believe that open communication and a customer-focused approach are crucial in maintaining the high standards for which Hilton is known.

I appreciate your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing about any steps that may be taken to prevent such instances in the future.

Great place for visitors to Brisbane. We came from the states and used Brisbane as our home base as we traveled to and from locations. This hotel was super convenient to local transit allowing us to skip renting a car. We enjoyed cityKat (boat), bus and train experiences. All relatively easy to navigate.

Context, we are Hilton rewards members so our room experiences may be slightly different. But, the reason for a 4/5 was the bathroom showers. I think it’s the European shower, but we couldn’t help but always getting water on the floor. The set up wasn’t the best. But heh! Who leaves anything accept used towels on the floor! Otherwise we enjoyed our rooms, all spacious enough (twin bed rooms).

Breakfast for us was a 5/5 as we have a picky teenager and he found lots of items to enjoy. We stayed there 6 nights total and didn’t tire of the breakfast due to the variety.
Staff also received a 5/5 as they were attentive, helpful, what you expect at a hotel.
And I give 5/5 to the pool and hot tub. They have a shower right there too. Really enjoyed cooling off and swimming a few laps.

Brisbane seems like it’s evolving around center city but don’t overlook this place based on value for the money.

A very tired hotel that charges 5-star room rates and delivers a 3-star Ibis service. Unlike other hotels of similar age (Marriott, Stamford Plaza), Brisbane Hilton doesn’t even have have views of the River.
Room: Dated, with a budget refurb.
Minibar: Most advertised items are not available. The Pringles and salted peanuts may have been there since the hotel was “refurbished” in the 1990s. And no one over the legal drinking age drinks canned sparkling wine.
Room service: If you are hungry after 11pm, there is no room service. The staff will direct you to Hungry Jacks or MCDonalds in the nearby Brisbane Mall… with the drunks and meth heads.

Except for the fact that there is no bathtub in the bathroom, it is excellent value for money.
Breakfast has fresh fruit, but other foods are a bit salty.
They say parking is valet only, but it's very expensive. It was $50 or $70 in Australian dollars.

From the moment I arrived too the moment I left, Hilton staff were very hospitable, and their customer service was first class.
Cameron, Jazz, Don and Alice at concierge gave the best first impression of the Hilton. They arranged my car parking for the week and explained in detail about arranging for my car to be made available for me as soon as I hit the lobby floor each day.

Service at the Vintaged restaurant is a hidden diamond in the rough. From full buffet breakfast it had all the requirements I needed for a very satisfying breakfast (try the cook to order omelet's, chefs kiss). Dinner was also exceptional. Entree's
I recommend the Scallops they were divine, both types of Oysters (best I've had in Queensland), and also the Maiale (Pork belly) and Polipo (Octopus).
For mains we had the fish of the day, which was red emperor, it was sensational, very well cooked, just melted on the tongue. The lemon butter sauce was the highlight for me, I could just drink it by itself it was sooo yummy.
The Polenta with mushrooms (dish name too fancy to pronounce lol) was surprisingly good considering it was a vegan dish. I didn't miss the meat at all, it was such a comforting dish and the deep fried enoki mushrooms just tipped the scales of the dish as a whole for me.
We tried 2 sharing platters during our stay. The Tomahawk and also the Carne Mista. Keep in mind these platters should be ordered when you make your booking to allow for the 50min cooking time and when I tell you the wait is totally worth it, it most definitely is. Both platters' steaks were cooked perfectly (medium rare) and was some of the best steak I've eaten in Queensland and would rival any good steak restaurant.
The side of mash potato is some of the best mash potato I've ever eaten (sorry Mum), even the steam veges were a nice addition.
Finally, dessert was to die for. We had the sorbet in each flavor, and they were delicious to say the less. The Pistachio Semifreddo was also a winner for me and the Amarena cherry gelato was probably my favorite ice cream I've ever had and I'm from NZ originally where we love our creamy ice cream indulgences.

The staff at the bar were also offering some nice cocktails. The service was next level. Shout out to Wayman, Roshan, Molly, Ken and Jessica for their above and beyond service. They kept the drinks flowing and the conversation. Roshan was very knowledgeable about their wine and cocktail list and even recommended a few I thought I wouldn't like, like the Cocktail of the month which was Strawberry Matcha.
He also made the best passionfruit and lychee martini I've had and his strawberry caprioskas were a hit with me.
Overall, Hilton should be proud of their Food and Beverage staff both Morning and night, as the service I was given was 5 star and nothing was too hard or too much for them they really strive to make the customers experience a happy experience. So Thank You to all whom serviced me during my stay from 10/07/23-16/07/23.

The location and staff hospitality were very good. However, the bathroom equipment is old and difficult to use, and the water pressure in the shower is weak.

Very good hotel arrive very early and they allow us to check in at 10 am, i am hilton honors gold and the breakfast they gave us was excelent

Had our 20th anniversary at the Hilton, Brisbane, CBD and we were spoilt in an executive room on the 22 floor with access to the executive lounge with lovely canapés and drink (free) to executive room guests. Ashleigh was very attentive and súper profesional, thank you for the great room. Buffet breakfast was excellent, th3 lovely lady chef made us delicious to order omelets.
We’ve here before we will keep coming back!

The only disappointment was the bar closed at 10pm when there were still guests in the bar.

We had a wonderful Christmas Function at the Hilton hotel. We enjoyed a lot of relaxation at the Pool and a Fantastic Dinner at the Vintage Bar and Grill Restaurant. We stayed overnight in comfortable clean rooms and were even allowed a late check-out the next day. Breakfast was fantastic. Thank you Hilton for making our Christmas evening a memorable one.

As a long time member of a competing chain, I admit it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
The staff is fantastic, attentive but not pushy.
A charming lady at the front desk handled check in/check out perfectly.
My request for high floor and nice view was accommodated- the room was great.
In case I needed anything else, somebody texted during the day to check on me.
Keep up the good work, I wish you a lot of success!

The Hilton Brisbane team went above and beyond to accommodate us during our extended stay. Tina at the front desk always said hello and wanted to know how we were doing. Ben, the head concierge, did a wonderful job of managing our valet service, along with the rest of concierge team including Ben, Simon, and Mikey. Would highly recommend staying here.

We came to Brisbane for a 4 day city break. I originally booked an Airbnb which turned out to be possibly the worst Airbnb in Brisbane (it was also expensive). So I requested a refund from Airbnb and needed someplace to stay. My wife and I managed about 3 hours sleep in two days because the Airbnb was so bad. So to say we were exhausted was an understatement. We wanted quality, CBD location, great customer service, and of course a big comfy bed. And we got that and more at the Hilton in Brisbane. They were very understanding and even upgraded us for free which was awesome. Their customer service is genuine and the best I've seen from any establishment in Queensland and Ive been here in Qld for 4 years. After chatting about our bad Airbnb experience, Mio, who was checking us in, deliberately upgraded us to a room further from the elevator so it would be even quieter than it already is. It's little touches like that, that show the Hilton's attention to making the customer feel valued.
You won't be disappointed with your stay at the Hilton.

I marvel at how a company this huge can be made up of some of the loveliest staff I've ever encountered. Despite the Hilton being a massive hotel chain, their guest service is bubbling with next door neighbourly charm.
Ben the valet was kind enough answer our questions about the city and the night staff were incredibly gracious when we arrived back quite late in the evening.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this Brisbane location thanks to the comfy bed, beautiful view, lovely pool, and every hard working member of their team.

Very good stay. Prompt service. Clean, comfortable room. If they put to bed sheets on, to go with the duvet, rather than one bedsheet and the duvet, I would have given them 10 out of 10. My request for a 2nd sheet was responded to very promptly

The best hotel service in Brisbane CBD. Tanya at check-in was so lovely, giving us such a warm welcome to the hotel after a hectic working week. Comfy beds and amazing pillows…like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Will definately be coming back every year. Thank-you Hilton Brisbane CBD

We often have drinks in the city at the Hilton bar. - after tonight’s experience never again. Orders not written down at time of ordering, extensive waiting times for drinks, , orders completely wrong when they arrived over 30 minutes after ordering and only after extensive questioning, food orders wrong including a meat burger served when a vegan option was requested. Ordered two bowls of chips and only got one - no attempt made to deliver a second bowl. Scotch ordered and a clear spirit was delivered which was apparently scotch! The couple beside us ordered scotch and sodas that were so weak you couldn’t even tell if there was scotch in the glass. Staff behind the bar were completely uninterested when we tried to find out what had happened to our order. In all a terrible experience!
