Hijinx Hotel Surfers Paradise

Very cute experience! Absolutely loved the set up of everything! Upset they close so early.
I went last night and only had a few issues being *Closing is 11 which left us trying to rush through the tasks so we can still do other things (our fault for getting there at 9)
*Brought a 2 cocktails but had to wait ages because the bar tender didnt seem to know how to make them (usually wouldn't be an issue but considering we ordered it at 10: 10 and didnt get the drink until almost 10: 35 it cut our last hour very short - plus my cocktail was FULL of ice.
But still a lovely place.

What an absolutely awesome place. Maze room, mini golf, bowling and cocktails must try for everyone in the family to have fun together.

Came in yesterday with my friends because we were bored and ended up having the best time ever! The challenge rooms were so fun and our game master marko was so funny and made me and my friends had the best time ever! He’s such a legend we will definitely return soon!

My husband and I had so much fun.nso much to look at, good cocktails, fun game rooms and putt putt.

If you are thinking of going DO IT! The experience is amazing and such a laugh! Cannot wait to go back!

I was there for a work function on Saturday night. The team was extremely friendly and accommodating and made the experience so much more fun! There was around 15 of us and we all enjoyed the challenge rooms! Our favourite was probably the 3D rollercoaster. We did the rollercoaster and the dodgem cars twice and couldnt thank the staff enough for this experience! 10/10 will be back!

Only thing is the music is pretty loud most of us are yelling at each other hahahahah and there were no plates for our pizza so we used serviettes~

Great place for a group fun! Changelleging mind and physical level! 4mins each game made a fast but fun! We enjoyed very much

Some great, fun entertainment options that provide the background for a really good time. Only negative is the pricing.

This place is nice and not too crowded. I had my daughter's birthday party and it was amazing. The food was delicious, the party host and manager were friendly, and all spaces were neat and pretty. Recommended if you have party plans.

This place is so much fun! Every room is a new surprise, full of adventure, fun and variety. The staff there were also lots of fun which made it even more enjoyable!

This place rocks. So much better than the normal strike bowling bar - it's well lit, the music isn't out of control loud, you can actually socialise here! ️

I had a terrible experience at this place because of the staff, Bree. She is such a racist and so impolite person. When I’ve been to this place, she didn’t respect and even greet us. I was so disappointed, and I will never come back here. I don’t recommend this place at all, as it is the worst venue I have ever been to in Australia before.

Hijinx Hotel was amazing! The rooms stellar and challenging but so much fun. The staff were well mannered extremely friendly and understanding. We were there 30mins till close and the kitchen staff and bar staff were extremely nice. Not to mention our game master Kara (I hope thats how to spell her name). She was a delight snd ensured we were having as much fun outside of the rooms as we were inside. The other "receptionist" working on the 28th was just as lovely. What a venue and what a genuinely exciting place to go. Cant wait to see what the rest of the venue is like!

Izzy is such a super star. The best customer service and made me the best drink. So easy to interact with and I love her!

Great concept and had such a good time there before going upstairs to Cali. Suggestion though. The signage at the street front is pretty much non existent, let alone many locals have never heard of you. Can’t help but think that turnover would skyrocket with better street signage and wider location awareness!

Really fun concept. Game rooms were fun.
The place is a lot bigger than we thought.
It has a full games arcade, bowling, mini golf and seating areas to have a drink from the bars and play some board games and chill with friends.
We went there early on a Tuesday so not many people in the photos but the place would be pumping at night or weekends.

Andrea and Araitz they were pretty decent at putt putt golf but overall they were so nice and we had the best time of our lives

Guidance was minimal. My entire group was sent off to a room and taken to each consecutive room by an employer only to be stopped after our second round on the second last room of our experience and told by a different employee we weren’t allowed to be in a group together, second last room of our entire experience. The staff were nice but didn’t make our experience any better, the hotel was running late so the staff just rushed everyone through. They seemed young and were acting out a job description rather than setting a feel for the day.

It was fun but not for what we paid, had I of experienced this before the birthday activities - I would have chosen elsewhere, I walked away devastated that our entire party travelled 2.5 hours one way, paid just over $600 for 1hour (we paid for 2 sets but told to leave for a half hour break between sets and all together 30mins of waiting) of games that we clearly did incorrectly due to no guidance to celebrate my daughters birthday.

We can say we’ve been but we won’t be back for the hotel.

A very good concept and well played out A couple of technical hitches but the variety of choice of things to do would definitelygo again
