Food and service was excellent the beer was nice and cold. The staff and patrons made you feel welcome. A real friendly little club

Where to start. The atmosphere of this place is awesome. Just a friendly, local, energetic sports club restraint. Local raffles supporting the local football club were up for purchase. Unfortunately wasn't my night, but great to know it's going to a good cause. Ordered some dinner after some drinks from the tap. 35 minutes later one of the parmies came out however they had forgotten about the 2nd one. Another 15 minutes the 2nd one came out whilst my wife had already finished and would be forced to wait whilst I ate. Her schnitzel was definitely overcooked and crunchier then should be. Mine was ok but for both the sample size was considerably small considering the price. Disappointed with the food and service, however the atmosphere was great. Might come back in the future, maybe we just got the chef and restraunt staff on an off night.

You get what you see here, she's a old venue, set up for small gatherings, good for those who prefer a small venue. Or have something to do with the sport played here.

Nice wee club. Unfortunately, we went for lunch but the kitchen is closed on Sunday & Monday. Will go back another day

The food is amazing. It's an older Club, quiet if you'd prefer that. Friendly service. Play Keno, pokies, bet on the horses, homely, old fashioned, I suppose.

I highly recommend, if you are looking for a nice meal at affordable prices try HB Sports club. I was impressed with the service and my meal was delicious and a very healthy serving, well done

$20 rump on the wednesday night can't be beat. Homestyle club reminisce of small town values. When was the last time you had a steak dinner for $20?

Great cheap meals. Friendly locals. Fabulous raffle prizes on a Friday night. Good fun night out.

Really enjoyed watching soccer from the club verandah whilst having a sundowner. Such a lovely atmosphere

We went to join and had the paperwork already filled in
While standing at the counter there was one person before us so waited our turn but while waiting another fellow came up behind us
When it was our turn the woman serving said in a rather abrupt and disinterested manner “let me do the keno first” and served the guy behind us who had a keno to payout
She then turned and walked away to get the microphone and ignored us waiting
She went out into the crowd and did a raffle draw while we were still standing there and didn’t acknowledge we were still waiting or get another staffer to attend to us when all that had to be done was take the form the $2 to join and fill out a receipt
She was rude and cranky toward us so my husband said to me he was no longer interested in joining and they didn’t need our membership so we left without signing up
This was our introduction to Hervey Bay having recently moved in and wanting to support local clubs and meet locals

Great food and drinks, very well priced and thank you for catering to our football needs. Go panthers. Cheers guys

Great meals, large & good value for money. Club price drinks, social spot, always enjoy it here.

The Red Cactus cafe inside the club is so yummy and at reasonable prices, Steve (Chef) and Lisa are so friendly.
You won't be disappointed.
Wed Thur Fri and Sat nights from 5.30pm

Bad food tasted like it was microwaved the steak was terrible and if u tell them they talk behind ur back would not recommend!
