Hervey Bay Community Centre reviews
17Tara is incredible. If you have any challenge, no matter how big or small, she is there to assist or point you in the right direction. If we could just clone her a million times, this world would be a much better place. Hervey Bay is lucky to have the community navigator role and Tara
Attended a meeting here. Small cafe, staff were friendly. It is fairly easy to park, although it was not busy on the day I was there.
I am extremely disappointed with how poorly managed these events are. The addresses your directed to are incorrect and overall poorly managed. Will not be joining any future events.
Attended appointment with lawyer for some advice.
Staff are great and coffee was good.
Pretty poor as are ammeneties in Hervey bay, public toilets 3rd world, alot spent on art but even the pond across from neighbourhood centre has $1000 spent on art everywhere but not even a $100 dollar ladder if a child falls in. Planning ridiculous and as a traveller here you get classed as homeless very judgemental town I would avoid this town if travelling maybey stop one day for a look but move on
So many services in one place, everyone is friendly, the building is clean and comfortable. Can't praise this community centre enough
A lovely group of people serving us with a smile. Good to talk to a couple of other guys there.
I don't want to give these people a rating _ they are above that
A great place to go for support, if they don't have what you need they will certainly help you find it.
I came here this afternoon feeling very panicked and pretty much on the verge of an anxiety attack, I was basically looking for a place to sit down away from the rain and collect my thoughts for a moment.
A young woman greeted me at the desk, she was endlessly helpful and polite. She showed me to a "zen room" and allowed me to relax in there for as long as I needed, which turned out was about 15 minutes.
In said room was a little desk, a comfortable chair with a massage button function, a plant and some cute books with positive life affirmations to look through if I wanted.
On the way out I thanked the same girl and went on with my day.
This act of kindness and understanding, in the moment really felt like such an important lifeline for me and it honestly made a world of difference.
Thankyou so much
Lots of things happen at the community centre, meeting rooms, wandering teapot cafe, cashless debit card, and lots of others. Call in and visit, they look forward to meeting you.
An Amazing organization, helping people in the community, with many different supports.
Thank you for being there for my family and many others.
Great centre for community events. The Centre is well run and a valuable asset to the community.
Able to use the shower and it's clean
Staff never get back to new people in the Bay
Fill out forms to volunteer and don't hear bavk
Wow! Went there for a meeting. Clean, bright, and looks interesting. I have yet to learn more of what they offer. If you are Community minded it would be worth a visit to gain information about how they can help you and or the community you live in.
Wonderful inclusive environment, multi cultiral and LGBTIQ friendly. Plenty of room for trainings and events.
Community cafe serves budget priced meals and coffee, milkshakes with volunteers for service who are friendly. You can access a variety of services provided and gather a multitude of information about what facilities we have in Hervey Bay.
There are a large number of services and programs that work from and out of the Community Centre, friendly staff and volunteers help with the running of the centre.
