Can’t thank Darren’s transport company for delivering my fridge with wonderful after care service and to Simon at Harvey Norman Townsville. An absolute pleasure doing business with both of you. Next level service and thank you for sorting out my issues within 24 hours. That’s hard to beat.

I had a couple of very friendly Heidi team members who helped carry my return in and checked my new item to make sure it wasn't damaged before i left the store and they carried it out for me

Communication from service staff sadly lacking, purchased a lot of goods over last 12 months and sales staff great

Shout out to Taylor today who helped my mum and I with a faulty microwave, service was impeccable and we were in and out within 20 minutes

Very friendly staff, delivery drivers noted defects in the product they were delivering and were very helpful in talking me through my options. White goods department was also incredibly helpful and talked me through getting a replacement that would be better suited to my needs

Outstanding service this evening from Tiffany. Knew her stuff, spent over 3 hours with us, patient, helped come up with great ideas & was happy to show us how we could make it all work with the furniture we wanted. Solved colour pallets for us & great advice.

Wonderful experience, good knowledgeable young lady.

Staff were rude, as if I were an inconvenience for picking up a click and collect order. The Item I ordered was out of stock despite being instock instore on the website (only reason i bought from here in the first place), had to switch to a different colour. First and last time shopping here.

Watch out for the clearance sales
If you want help with items though visit 1st up in the morning otherwise good luck trying to get some help

Worst customer service in Townsville.
They are only ever interested in selling you the most expensive item. Once they do the sell they couldn’t care less about you.
Just had an interaction with lady working on front counter name Jade - so rude, so unhelpful.
Much rather go to any other store in Townsville, it’s just lucky they usually have more stock.

Was waiting in the bedding department, and we saw two workers just standing there having a chat and they looked at us but they still continued their chat. We had to go over and ask for help, once they came over they were rude and it felt like they didn’t want to help us. We enquired about a bed, and they walked off and didn’t say anything to us, when they came back they were very rude and said we won’t get any till February.

Cool store with the usual assortment of furniture, bedding and electronics.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Was looking at computer parts and TVs and the staff were pretty knowledgeable and were not pushy.
Prices are generally around recommended retail but there are some bargains, to be had.

We were looking for furniture. Sales staff David McCulloch helped us with information without being too pushy. Very polite. It was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Travelling through and needing a new laptop we made 3 visits to this store before we decided to purchase an ASUS Vivo Book. First spoke to Vinny and then Tim on the next two visits culminating in the purchase. Service was excellent with both these gentleman very knowledgeable and providing us with plenty of time to ask questions and ensure we were happy with our purchase. Our usual stop for electronic purchases is usually JB Hifi and/or The Good Guys as we boycott Harvey Norman stores generally based on the stupidity and ignorance of comments made by the owner Gerry Harvey! We made this exception purely on the knowledge and expertise of these two guys as the other stores did not have the staff with this level of knowledge and professionalism. So thank you Tim and Vinny for your exceptional service.

Recently Simon from the whitegoods section in the Townsville store assisted us with a Fridge and Washing Machine purchase. Simon’s assistance was possibly the best retail customer service I have received. Simon was knowledgeable, light hearted, realised when to push and when to back off. Simon made the experience, right through to the delivery, an easy and simple process with a great attention to the customer!

Just wanted to put out a huge shout out to Amanda, after receiving damaged goods I contacted Harvey Norman and was put through to Amanda explaining that we had guests arriving from Canberra and in need of a quick solution to replace item, Amanda listened, understood our position and took it on her self to resolve this the very next day. Well done to Amanda and Harvey Norman, you have certainly got future business for us.
